everyone involved is fucking retarded
The best way of manipulation is to make them think it's their idea. Religion is a mostly emotional thing (see Evid3nc3's channel). Most Christians have had one or more religious dreams they consider real. Once that reality is established, they build upon it, creating their very own image of their personal god. This is one of the reasons why there are so many churches, people have their own view of god. If two groups of people have a significantly different view of their deity, they either sort it out or they split. Both branches will say the other branch is wrong. But that aside, no Christian will ever even consider the idea that they're being controlled.
That's right you probably know me better than I do. I don't know where you get your facts, I've never even had a "religious dream" before. Not even my fundamentalist, and conservative parents have.
This is disgusting, they probably know they are killing people but see their deaths as a success. Disgusting humans.
Reminds me of an X-Files episode. Maybe they thought aliens would cure them? :v:
People like this give people of faith a bad name... Good joke: A farmer is in Iowa during a flood. The river is overflowing, with water surrounding the farmer's home up to his front porch. As he is standing there, a boat comes up, The man in the boat says "Jump in, I'll take you to safety." The farmer crosses his arms and says stubbornly, "Nope, I put my trust in God." The boat goes away. The water rises to the second floor. Another boat comes up, the man says to the farmer who is now in the second story window, "Jump in, I'll save you." The farmer again says, "Nope, I put my trust in God." The boat goes away. Now the water is up to the roof. As The farmer stands on the roof, a helicopter comes over, and drops a ladder. The pilot yells down to the farmer "I'll save you, climb the ladder." The farmer says "Nope, I put my trust in God." The helicopter goes away. The water comtinues to rise and sweeps the farmer off the roof. He drowns. The farmer goes to heaven. God sees him and says "What are you doing here?" The farmer says "I put my trust in you and you let me down." God says, "What do you mean, let you down? I sent you two boats and a helicopter!!!"
I'm sorry, is that a valid response in your mind? Are you attempting to brush aside what I said with that nonsense? The poster said that religion does no good, and I simply explained to him he was wrong. Are you implying that charity is pointless?
I may be wrong, but I think a charity may be more accessible to the people who regular church becuase they ask for handouts each week which is a donation, so I don't think it is completely fair.
