I think only certain categories are degrading, or certain things done in whatever video. Although Casual sex as you note is enjoyed by both genders, and is actually not done all too badly in a lot of porn, sadly it can't be said for the other side of it.

From the perspective of an un wanting observer (her father), yes, it would appear pretty bad.

If I had a kid, I would support her if she went into this line of work, but I would not wish to see her in it; given the prevalence and widespread use of images without permission, quite a few of the websites I traverse may have her images in advertising banners, which would make my day on the internet difficult.

I think it's because it "objectifies women". Porn puts them up on display and centers around their looks rather than their capabilities, and they're payed by people who get off on it. Though I don't really see how that's much worse than movies who hires an actor because they're fat/short/ugly/or a midget and their looks can be used for comedy's sake, and be payed by people who want a cheap laugh.
