Well yeah, I was just being nice. It's not my problem to worry about, I'm a Republican. I'm happy as fuck with the current situation, minus Trump.
Whoa I didn't think people really believed in the fuck you, got mine mentality.

Yup, as far as I'm concerned, most people I come across can simply go fuck themselves.

Yep checks out.

What gives your life meaning?
Yeah, it's pretty great that the only political party (the DNC) that doesn't seem to be solely devoted to obstructing the government, stripping the rights away from the LGBT community, passing anti-voting laws disguised as voter ID laws, passing laws based on an oppressive religion, and otherwise destroying the moral fabric of this country under the guise of protecting it isn't doing so well.
See I think Pops beliefs are shit but what do you expect to gain by trying to guilt trip him with your own beliefs?
What if he was just some single-issue voter? You think he is just going to wake up one day and go 'Golly gee, those people on the internet sure did make me feel bad. Guess I'll vote for Clinton.'
Save yourself the effort because you won't reach him. People like him can only realize on their own the flaws of what they believe over time and not by some random stranger on the internet.

If the guy brings up something like "most people I come across can go fuck themselves" or only caring about some side "win" without considering anything else on a public forum, then he brings that upon himself to potentially get chewed out, regardless of the fact if it'll actually affect him or not.

There's nothing to guilt trip me with, I don't agree with, nor would I pursue any of those things he mentioned happening.
Realistically, both parties are shit, one isn't better than the other because of a few laws they passed (laws that for the most part do nothing but reinforce shit that's technically already been legal for a long fucking time, and the senators and administration in question did it more so to win brownie points). The difference is that the Democrats pretend to care about you or minorities, when they just want your vote and don't actually give a fuck, and the Republicans don't give a fuck from the start and have no problem letting you know that. Again, both are shit, I'm simply sided with the side I think is somewhat less shitty.
I'm very much for lgbt rights and all that jargon that gets pushed around in the media, but it doesn't mean I have to like it or even agree with it, I simply recognize what's good for the masses.
Still, there's no denying the DNP fucked up big time and the GOP is cashing in on it. In a matter of a few years we'll see a reversal again, it's a continual cycle in political history.

There isn't one, but that has nothing to do with this.

That kind of contradicts itself, however. Not to mention your earlier statement.

The republican party is shit, but at least they shove that shit right in your face, unlike the democratic party.

How so? Americans are entitled to the pursuit of happiness, and their rights don't end with the bill of rights. Nothing in those amendments saying "unless you are lgbt or non-white".
Just because I personally don't give a fuck about whether you like dicks or not doesn't mean I don't recognize that you still have individual rights.
well, i think it's a good chance that trump will give up his empire to his kids. the dude is 70, is gonna undoubtedly go through a stressful 4 years and will either toughen up to run for re-election or gtfo and just be a retired old fart after that.
that, or they'll do something that specifically handles the money from foreign folks, like donate it to charity or something along those lines.
Oh hey, I was right, Trump is leaving the business.
Oh hey, I was right, Trump is leaving the business.
I have serious doubts he really is leaving the business all together, ivanka is on calls to foreign governments so how can it really be completely separated.
He's just doing this for the reason stated in this thread, if he didn't do something there was a real chance he would have lost the votes needed for the majority in the electoral college.
So yeah... where were all these ethics lawyers when the Patriot Act was still on the table?
