http://www.youtube.com/t/contact_us Where do I send direct feedback to? It is like they do not want complaints so made it overly complex.
they removed feedback The "Send Feedback" page has been removed basically http://www.google.com/tools/feedback/intl/en/error.html
Google has been trying to force people to use its shit more and more as years go on. I.E. its pretty much impossible to use the full suite of google calendar/gmail/contacts/etc and have it actually sync up like you can do with every other service out there unless you do it directly through google/android now, even though you used to be able to do this. They also purposefully gimp programs/apps they make on other platforms that aren't android, as well occasionally witch hunt against 3rd parties that attempt to circumvent the lack of interest Google has outside of android. Google is turning into a company where unless you are using their services to its fullest (being a G+ member, having an android phone) they want to make life hell for you or as inconvenient as possible. They simply can't accept the fact that people don't want to 100% fully integrate into everything google is and does. Its so different than what they were a few years ago.
Uh no its not: http://www.google.com/tools/feedback/intl/en/
You can't submit feedback for youtube
Uh no its not: http://www.google.com/tools/feedback/intl/en/
Feedback on YouTube is gone. If you click Send feedback at the bottom to select parts of the page it simply links you to the error page instead.
YouTube, just thanks so much for this update. I honestly felt that the comments were lacking content from a Google-circlejerk social network that no one uses. The fact that now comments are mixed in with shares and comments from Google+ makes me absolutely ecstatic. Oftentimes I feel that YouTube just needs to be less intuitive if you know that I mean! The layout is a clusterfuck already, the video player takes multiple clicks just to switch the quality, annotations are disabled by default, uploading custom thumbnails is broken on Chrome and a number of other issues exist, but we need more. I understand you need to push YouTube to it's outer limits in marketing advertisements and washed-out YouTube celebrities who receive millions of views on low quality content. So on behalf of me and nobody on the face of this fucking planet, Thanks, Go burn in hell with Buzz and Wave
Why can I only reply to this one person at the top? :v:
Why can I only reply to this one person at the top? :v:
the other comments don't have google+
What
On this video I see the previous comment system and it got me thinking Google might have done something good and reverted their changes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljCj01WIZ-Y but nope, just that video infact it seems to be fine on a lot of PC Gamer videos
Uh, I can click the Send feedback link with no problem. It's a javascript window, so maybe NoScript or ABP is blocking something, for some reason.
This playstation commercial video is still in the original format?
How the hell am I supposed to reply to comments now. It only shows the option for certain posts.
can you give me a link to the vid?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=7Tw_O_fEFPk
This playstation commercial video is still in the original format?
Huh, It's like that on every video uploaded by Playstation.
this is the stupidest comment system ive ever encountered.
What
A new system of censorship.
it's the principle of the thing, you shouldn't have to the only thing you should need to successfully use youtube is... a youtube account
Why? Both products are owned by the same company. Valve used to require separate accounts for the Steam client and for the forums, but then they linked them. Was this problematic as well?
Why? Both products are owned by the same company. Valve used to require separate accounts for the Steam client and for the forums, but then they linked them. Was this problematic as well?
this isn't remotely the same and you know it. look, i can understand a google account, that's fair enough. but forcing their failed facebook clone onto us? the fuck. nobody wants to use that, get that shit out of my face. literally the only thing i'm going to use it for is commenting on videos and answering questions i get on my videos. and i could do that just fine on YouTube before, so what was this forced exodus about again? it'd be like if valve pushed the steam notifications and comments onto the steam forums
Thank god YouTube has a feedback system. [t]http://i.imgur.com/mreTcKi.png[/t]
I saw this on Tumblr and it raised a pretty interesting question. Maybe not Internet Explorer, but Google Chrome? Of course nothing wrong with Google Chrome, but there's plenty of people who prefer other browsers. What with all this Google+ bullshit, I wouldn't think forcing people to use their browser would be too far out...
well, google is removing the ability to add extensions that aren't from the chrome web store so I don't see a single reason to stick with chrome either
well, google is removing the ability to add extensions that aren't from the chrome web store so I don't see a single reason to stick with chrome either
You can actually change that in settings, it's off by default
You can actually change that in settings, it's off by default
no, they're removing it for good http://www.theverge.com/2013/11/7/5077856/google-for-windows-to-prohibit-browser-extensions-not-in-chrome-web-store
I seriously hate Google+. I would be totally okay with Google+ if it wasn't so strict about forcing me to display a real name rather than a nickname, or if it at least didn't automatically use my email to link itself with my youtube account to start pestering me with requests to display my real name. My real name is private info I do not feel comfortable sharing with complete strangers in an informal public environment. I do not particularly want people to connect my real name with my youtube account, and neither do I particularly want strangers to connect my youtube account to my real name. I also don't want to use my real name for Google+ as some shitty Facebook alternative, the only goddamn reason I made an account was because my friend kept nagging about the voicecall feature supposedly being better quality than skype. For now my temporary solution was simply to give my Google+ account a generic as fuck fake Swedish sounding name
I kinda like some parts of the g+ stuff, I was able to change name to my current username, neat.
GRRRR NOW I CANT TELL PEOPLE HOW FUCKING WRONG THEY ARE!
You know, at this point I'm almost tempted to just completely disable comments across all my videos :/
Do it, and if people ask you why, blame the downright broken comment system. [editline]8th November 2013[/editline]
I tried actually, Shockwave flash stops responding the moment I paste it, and when posting a 67086 character comment, it lag's like fuck, and it's a struggle to post
Wish me luck guys, I'm gonna reboot to my Linux install and then post Pi down to a billion digits on the "Meet the new YouTube comments" video [editline]8th November 2013[/editline] Wait, gonna download a 1GB .txt file containing Pi.
Why? Both products are owned by the same company. Valve used to require separate accounts for the Steam client and for the forums, but then they linked them. Was this problematic as well?
There's a difference between unified account/login which is cool and convenient, and then mashing Google+ and YouTube together in ways that makes absolutely no sense
Anybody know how this work? I've only made one comment since the terrible update [editline]8th November 2013[/editline] Is it because I rated up posts or something?
Bitching won't change anything, if you don't like YouTube try an alternative. "But everyone worth watching is on YouTube" That's because everyone uses it, including you. Of course, YouTube partners are probably fucked; but with the new g+ integration they're going to get fucked either way. The truth is, YouTube as it is now is an unstable, unreliable video site that is slowly becoming a Facebook clone. Funnily enough, the path it's taking is not too dissimilar to the route MySpace took when it abandoned it's original music sharing format.
