That way Channels can moderate their own comments, throw in a few safeguards and volia. You might have a half-decent Comment system. Or you could link to the Sub-Reddit.

This gets worse and worse. When the update first rolled out, it actual had real conversations for the most part. Now 95% of all comments on all videos now have that fucking bob stick figure taking up the whole comment space. And it looks like they changed the formatting a little bit as well, now if you switch between top and new comments, it does absolutely nothing. The same shit with "bob" shows up for pages, and pages, and pages.

The new comments system is functionally much nicer to use than the old one. The problem is that there are 1) idiots shitposting and 2) Youtube made a mistake in how top level comments are sorted, which isn't a problem with the system itself it's just a rough edge.

I hope youtubers block comments. Getting really tired of this Bob shit.
