Then nothing happens and no one does anything, ever, because it's easier to just deal with it by ignoring it, and diving into false worlds of various depths and complexities. I have a youtube account tied to my gmail account, and until now I have been able to maintain anonymity by using only my screen name on youtube while keeping my personal details out. Google will not allow me to comment on youtube videos anymore unless I choose between two "all or nothing" options: [quote]Your YouTube channel will show [Screen Name] and not [Actual Name]. Would you like to use [Screen Name] on all Google products on this account, instead of [Actual Name]? This includes Gmail, Calendar, and Drive.[/quote] So, if I get this straight, if I don't want to create a Google+ account, Google is going to overwrite my Gmail account's info to show my actual name as my Youtube screen name.
