Its like the start of The Core
All it would take is one strike in a flock. Lightning creates a large wave of pressure around it which could easily take out a flock of birds.
a flock of more than 1,000 birds... Never seen that before,
Weird, reminds me of Flashfoward.
Happens all the time. (Beginning of the first video and the second one is actually kinda funny.)
Birds are really sensitive to electromagnetic radiation, maybe something fucked with them and made them all fly into the ground.
Gas cloud. Whe has something similar about 15 years ago when some industrial accident released a low density chlorine gas cloud. Can't find a source link to this but I distinctly remember the news to stay indoors and out of the basement. We didn't ahve school that day either.
Well, I think we found the problem...

http://www.cnn.com/2011/US/01/02/arkansas.falling.birds/ http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE7010UO20110102 http://firstarkansasnews.net/2011/01/working-to-solve-beebes-new-years-eve-bird-mystery/ I do apologize for not suiting your political needs.
The Core...terrible movie.
I'm pretty sure The Core was made to troll geologists.

It must have sucked if you were driving and birds started to rain.
Holy shit, it's the first sign of 2012!
Arkansas, black birds no problems there.
It's like I'm really watching The Day After Tommorow.
The rednecks are sure to be involved in this.
Anyone else read Under the Dome?
This.
I love how if someone posts a fox news article, it's frowned upon, however, if the same article is on a different site, no one has a problem.
Was it the Helvetica Scenario?
This sounds like a good beginning to an apocalypse movie.
Movie... Right... :ohdear:
Maybe the physical trauma was caused because they fell out of the sky :downs:
Commission ornithologist Karen Rowe said the he birds showed physical trauma Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2011/01/02/dead-birds-fall-ark-sky/#ixzz19ulrhaLD
No shit, they fell from the sky.
1. shoot big flashy noisy bombs at sky 2. wonder why birds are falling
Apparently in big cities migratory birds can become confused by the light pollution and just fly in circles and die of exhaustion without actually getting anywhere. My guess is the flock was trying to migrate and they all just died cause they didn't know what to do.
*shoot dead birds out of slingshots, get on news*
Andromeda strain!
It begins.... it's off the movie the birds btw
this shit is funny
