The problem is really just population control. A lot of people believe that Muslims will become a majority in Europe by the end of the century. Many Europeans fear that their grandchildren will lose their culture, since a lot of Europeans practice birth control rarely get married compared to muslims. What is sad is that Islam has actually brought different cultures together, since a minority of muslims are arabs, while a majority are Indian, Malaysian, chinese, african, bengali, persian, turkish, etc. Persian history shows us that the introduction of Islam created a Renaissance in Persian art, literature & science which the west pretty much copied off after the crusades asnd their own "renaissance" era. I'm not sayin that there culture will be destroyed, on the contrary, it will still stay the same.

The problem is: Many of them don't have an own culture. They came here for work, perectly understandable. THe thing is: most of them didn't nhave work or an education in Turkey either. We started importing cheap workers in the 70's when they were badly needed. Thus I have to say the problem is 50% self made. But the problem on their side is that when you move people to Germany for cheap work, they don't bring that much culture themselves because they were UNEDUCATED JOBLESS people in the first place.
I wouldn't mind quarters a la "little Turkey" in our towns. Not at all. I've seen Chinatown in SanFrancisco, Seattle and Chicago and I have to say I liked them, although Chinatown in SanFran is pretty much the nude district at night but that's another story.
But the turkish who came here don't form that kind of culture. They live in these weird "no culture besides coffee-houses for old men" worlds where the youth creates gangs and groups. Much more like the black ghetto stereotype you know from TV than you'd imagine.
