I actually enjoyed Portal 2 more then I did Half Life 2 or any of its episodes. The hype only made it better, and it completely lived up to it for me.
Seriously, 10/10. Deserves to be game of the year, ending was the most epic Valve has ever designed.
I don't care what they think. Portal 2 is fucking amazing.

I loved Portal 2 a lot. My only complaint is that it sorta left me wanting more at the end but I guess that's mostly me, I still give it a 10/10

I would disagree that the content for the game even if shorter then others was worth more because they cram so much content into each hour. I might have a few problems with the game but its definitly the best game I played so far this year especially if you got it in one of those deals were it was 35$

Buying that shirt vs. buying a regular shirt for less money is functionally the same as buying a TF2 hat vs. not buying a TF2 hat

You can unlock a hat through achievements in portal 2
I think the store is a good thing if only that it shows a long term commitment to the game. I estimate that it would take about 20 hours to completely digest Portal 2 (achievements, commentary, easter eggs), and these items would only effect half of that. I don't see Valve going through all the effort making the store unless they knew people were going to spend considerable hours playing co-op.
