It's like finding out Santa isn't real.
What are you talking about? Then who the fuck brings me the presents?
Yes.
I never though I'd meet someone who was actually against it
Any game will be four hours long if you bumrush it and just read the ign guide. It took me 10 hours to finish the sp and the coop is supposed to be another 6. Portal 2 is the best game I have ever played.
And why would they listen to you ?
They won't obviously because hats make money and I don't buy hats.
When you have no idea on how to continue and people constantly berating you what you're going to do next and conspiracy theories about the Gman appearing in every nook and cranny of everything valve related, I'd think you would want to move on.

u dont just end ur best selling series because you dont find working on it fun dumbass

You're a dumbass if you finish in 4 hours. I mean you can finish HL2 in like 3 or 4 hours if you really want to but where's the fun
This so fucking much. The people that are completing it quickly are the people that are playing it just for the challenge and not for any story what so ever. Fucking listen to every single dialogue and pay attention to whats going on and maybe you won't take a few hours to finish a game.
A game is bad because I suck :downs:
I beat it in no time at all with him at his house, the game wasn't hard at all. It was interesting, but not nearly worth the price it was.
Wow guys, id rather pay 3 or 4 dollars a hat or skin than 15 or 20 dollars for 5 maps. get fucking over it.
I never though I'd meet someone who was actually against it
It changed the game. I bought that game for a price. I played that game and I enjoyed it for its simplicity. The class updates took away that simplicity to a degree that, eventually, made the game no longer enjoyable for me. Therefore I no longer play TF2. Ergo, the game I spent money on does no longer exist in my games library. I was cheated out of money due to an unforeseeable and irreversible change to the very core of the gameplay.
I doubt that Valve would be stupid enough to make Portal 2 an obvious console port, but hey, look what happened to Crytek. Day 1 DLC is never a good thing though.
I beat it in no time at all with him at his house, the game wasn't hard at all.
I doubt that Valve would be stupid enough to make Portal 2 an obvious console port, but hey, look what happened to Crytek. Day 1 DLC is never a good thing though.
they didn't, all there was that was to indicate it was a fancy loading screen.
Because like I said, you didn't pay attention to anything you were just interested in finishing it just for the sake of finishing it and being able to say "I finished Portal 2."
So your argument is purely based on the assumption that we can't listen to the dialogue while doing the puzzles?

Not the fact you can't enjoy the game anymore because its "overcomplicated" but because they somehow made it not fun for you. So this makes the entire company shitty just because of a small group of people who can't get over themselves can no longer play :v:?
Why the heck would someone care about the in game store and all that crap, if it in no way affects them?
Wow people will cry about anything wont they.
I doubt that Valve would be stupid enough to make Portal 2 an obvious console port, but hey, look what happened to Crytek. Day 1 DLC is never a good thing though.
There is no day 1 dlc. Unless your count hats.
My problem with day one, or even week one DLC is that it was clearly there, made and ready for the release date... so why doesn't it come with the game? I can understand adding stuff in at a later date like "oh! wouldn't it be cool if we added this thing that we didn't have time to implement/only just thought of and then put a small price on it to cover the small price it costed us to make it + some profit?"... but instead what we've got here is shit that took absolutely no time, thought or effort to make being sold at a price that is essentially a massive profit.
Jesus you whiney bitches would you all please just chill? NO-ONE is forcing you to buy the stuff from the store, no-one at all it isnt required that you buy one. Just accept it and move along.
Wow people will cry about anything wont they.
Even about free stuff apparently.
So your argument is purely based on the assumption that we can't listen to the dialogue while doing the puzzles?
Looks like someone didn't read. Some people only play these games for the challenge and won't listen to it regardless and when they finish quickly they think its a shit game.
Wow guys, id rather pay 3 or 4 dollars a hat or skin than 15 or 20 dollars for 5 maps. get fucking over it.
I'd rather not pay for either.
Why the heck would someone care about the in game store and all that crap, if it in no way affects them?
Not wearing deodorant won't hurt anybody, but it makes you much less pleasant to be around. Some things just leave a bad taste.
Looks like someone didn't read. Some people only play these games for the challenge and won't listen to it regardless and when they finish quickly they think its a shit game.
You mean speed runs.
Because like I said, you didn't pay attention to anything you were just interested in finishing it just for the sake of finishing it and being able to say "I finished Portal 2."
I forgot you were there in the room with us, sir :downs: We listened to all of the dialogue we could and spent time looking for easter eggs, we didn't just run through it. Still wasn't worth the full price to either of us, I'm glad I'm the one who didn't piss away money on it.
Jesus you whiney bitches would you all please just chill? NO-ONE is forcing you to buy the stuff from the store, no-one at all it isnt required that you buy one. Just accept it a move along.
would you be saying this if it was activision doin this?
I'd rather not pay for either.
I wouldn't pay for either.
The one thing I want know, is that why Valve has never mentioned that the Store would be going to Portal 2.

Take this as an analogy - you go to a restaurant, you order food, you get the food, you're eating it, then the chef runs in, takes a dump on the food and says "IT'S A FREE UPDATE THAT ADDS STUFF YOU CAN'T COMPLAIN" and goes away. Are you just gonna sit there and go "oh well I'll eat it anyway"?
would you be saying this if it was activision doin this?
There's a difference between a map pack and bunch of fucking skins you idiot!
