I don't mean format. I mean literal animation program.
That's unrelated to flash as a plugin. You can draw your shit in the flash editor and then just output it as mp4.
flash animation will not die... Plugin Flash will die...
It's good that you're special and tech literate but these changes aren't made for you.
Don't care. I'm not administrating their machines. I'm administrating my own machine.
Well quite frankly they're more concerned about protecting the majority of their users
I did that. I shouldn't have had to do that, though. Firefox should know based on how much I've rummaged through the settings most people don't even know it has, the addons I run, that I'm not some clueless little old grandma who can barely figure out how to open links. I know enough that I don't need or want my browser babysitting me
I don't really understand. Do you want them to have some special algorithm that detects whether or not you understand the ins and outs of Firefox? It's really not that big of a deal to just go and re-enable it
Don't care. I'm not administrating their machines. I'm administrating my own machine.
The point is that those tech illiterate people aren't knowledgeable enough to protect themselves while someone with more technical knowledge such as yourself should be able to figure out a way around it.
Does anyone know where I can get updates on this? Cause whenever something like this happens I'm never sure when it is safe to reactivate it or continue to keep it deactivated. Plus my parents don't know about this security flaw so I might have to do something about that
