I really wouldn't fucking care if a fat ugly chick went outside in the nude
I have. But you're acting like were all democrats when most of us just hold leftist ideas and are anti super extremist right wing.
thing is most of you are all rabidly pro-democrat and anti-republican. that's political partisanship - sticking completely to one side.

Most of us hate the democrats for being too conservative as well

It's not that hard when there's only two parties and one is considered to be an extremist group by the rest of the world.
It's why a two party system is flawed.

it was just an example used to illustrate a point, it doesnt have to be 100% correct all the time
Most of us hate the democrats for being too conservative as well
What the hell are you doing man?
what does that have to do with source quality
having a stated opinion doesn't prevent something from being relatively unbiased
just because it's called "rightwingwatch" doesn't automatically mean that they skew facts or outright lie
for the millionth time opinion does not equal bias
I like how only 3 posts are about the article's content

I'm pretty sure we can trust Fox if they're talking about intra-republican crap, such as firing the republican fall-guy of the debt stuff
Sorry I'm replying to the OP, not the ongoing discussion (looks like it's just "LOL FOX News" again anyway)
So Republicans hold up Budget decisions for months, flatly outvoting many sensible (and then to prove a point, not so sensible) budget reforms just to keep a petty fight going over universal healthcare, only choosing to FINALLY back down and get this shit sorted at the 11th hour, and the Treasury Secretary is to blame for a downgraded credit rating?
Shit could have been sorted long before the remaining cash reached a desperate level and the credit rating could have stayed intact! Why are these idiots still holding seats of power?
[editline]7th August 2011[/editline]
Oh as for Geitner changing has mind - of course he did. When he claimed there was no risk, that was because raising the debt ceiling wasn't a choice they were planning to make. Now they've had to do that, it's hardly surprising.
neither of those have the same reach as fox news
[editline]7th August 2011[/editline]
fox news is a big giant news network supported by a massive multinational corporation. Rightwingwatch and alternet are really just a step above blogs.
I don't follow your point.
Hahahaha, really?
"We fucked up our credit rating, so we want you to resign for it."
Blame for this rests squarely at Boehner and McConnell's feet, and it's insulting when they pretend otherwise.

Republicans are either brain dead or they're con artists.
Either way, they're laughable and a waste of time.

Everything about MCConnell just pisses me off. His intentions, his opinions... even just the way he speaks, how he looks as he's saying the shit he says, and the sound of his voice just pisses me off far more than it should.

I love how quickly something that could have been an actual political argument deteriorated into mindless FOX bashing and flaming glaber. Nice job.

That simply isn't the case. I for example tipped my hat to a Republican Congressmen who wanted to support same-sex marriage, and was very critical of the Democrats conceding so much in the debt ceiling negotiations. I just tend to support them more because most Democratic politicians are closer to my political position than Republicans are. Ideally I'd rather have the old Socialist Party or Progressive Party back in prominence.

When it's Fox, the entire credibility of the article comes into question.

Mindless? Pretty sure we all have our reasons.

You can only have a political argument when an argument exists.
One side illogically calling for vengeance (even though the entire fucking problem is due to them) is not an argument.
thing is most of you are all rabidly pro-democrat and anti-republican. that's political partisanship - sticking completely to one side.
No. We're really not. People here more often than not attack the republicans, yes, and for good reason in most of our minds because to most rational people, it appears(hey, even Standard And Poor is blaming this on the republicans.) that the republicans are insane.
There's SO fucking many posters here who would just as soon blame the dems as the republicans in some effort to appear non committal to either side.
It's funny how you avoid mentioning any negatives about the republican party and always jump to their aid. I believe most of us have commented that the dems are spineless bastards and need to step up. I believe you've defended the republicans without reason in most threads.
Wasn't Geithner going to resign anyway because he was fed up with the Senate and Congress?
Wasn't Geithner going to resign anyway because he was fed up with the Senate and Congress?
The article says he wanted to resign to spend time with his family.
The article says he wanted to resign to spend time with his family.
We all know the real reason. It doesn't take a psychologist to realize that the White house staff is pretty much fed up with the Senate and Congress.
