and that affects the quality of life how?´
How about you explain how the way buildings look affects the quality of life?
yeah its too bad you edited it in after I posted already
Only the part about the wealth contrast between America/Mexico
and that affects the quality of life how? (or tells us in what way that Sweden is superior then "poor old estonia")
You said they were the same, minus marginal differences in language. That is a inherently ignorant assumption.
How about you explain how the way buildings look affects the quality of life? Only the part about the wealth contrast between America/Mexico
mexico is not in an economic agreement with the USA and their borders are not open for free pass between each other, their relationship is nothing like what happens between two countries inside the EU, they get all kinds of work benefits and can travel and almost live where they want don't see that happening in US/mexico relations any time soon and yeah, old buildings make you feel like you're living in the past, and they are more likely to collapse/become unstable or fall apart, most of them have visible cracks in the walls
and that affects the quality of life how? (or tells us in what way that Sweden is superior then "poor old estonia")
Superior HDI, superior GDP/capita, superior infrastructure, superior quality and availability of healthcare, superior education.. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture.
and yeah, old buildings make you feel like you're living in the past, and they are more likely to collapse/become unstable or fall apart, most of them have visible cracks in the walls
No. Our historical buildings are usually superbly maintained. I'd like to take you back to your Detroit example.
you must feel bad about missing out on so much
What am I missing out on exactly?
their relationship is nothing like what happens between two countries inside the EU, they get all kinds of work benefits and can travel and almost live where they want
Uh, no, you still need a passport and ID to travel between European countries, and to live in any of them you still need a visa, which they never just hand out like candy, because that would go against most countries immigration policies.
and yeah, old buildings make you feel like you're living in the past, and they are more likely to collapse/become unstable or fall apart, most of them have visible cracks in the walls
Sorry, but "old buildings = bad lifestyle" is terrible logic. In fact, it's not logical at all. You're talking about cracks in the walls as if that would be an indicator of how terrible life is. It's not. Either way, you lived in ESTONIA. Not Sweden. By saying "Yeah well, Estonia is just like Sweden" even though you've never been there, I might as well up and say "Yeah well, Mexico is just like America" because those are neighbors! I'm watching this thread FYI. [editline]21st March 2012[/editline]
It's exactly the same with a different name, slightly different language
Estonia is exactly the same as Afghanistan. Nothing different. [editline]21st March 2012[/editline] I've been there trust me.
how many people get their digital money stolen each year? compare that to how many people get robbed in the street.
there's other things that people can steal from you when they mug you i mean, a lot of people's phones are worth way more money than they'd usually carry in cash anyway
superior education
Judging by the level of idiocy expressed by your fellow Swedes in this thread, I don't think the Estonians are missing out on much tbqh.
if cash was completely eradicated, some people will probably just start trading things instead

They aren't even checked at 90% of borders (inside the EU), maybe you should do some homework on the Schengen Zone. And nothing any of you just replied with actually addressed anything I've written, (i.e. explained mexico/USA relations) But hey, I'm not going to live in a place that even paypal doesn't support p.s.:it was fun winning this debate, we should do it again sometime.
Judging by the level of idiocy expressed by your fellow Swedes in this thread, I don't think the Estonians are missing out on much tbqh.
Jesus dick, Estonia isn't like Sweden at all. At least talk to people from the countries or read up on it before making up bullshit about how both are clones of each other or some crap.
if cash was completely eradicated, some people will probably just start trading things instead
Can I exchange my goat for a gram of weed?
And nothing any of you just replied with actually addressed anything I've written, (i.e. explained mexico/USA relations)
If you payed attention, you'd notice I developed my argument and turned your own argument against you.
But hey, I'm not going to live in a place that even paypal doesn't support
That's adorably dense of you to say. https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ [editline]21st March 2012[/editline] Älskar dig, Swebonny. <3
all posts combined
I am Estonian and you are a retard.
p.s.: EU sucks, find a better place to live that doesn't make you feel as if you live in 1944 by looking at the surrounding buildings, if any, considering rural areas of Europe are among the poorest places in the first world (most houses there have no pluming).
amrika!!!
amrika!!!
He's just jealous.
how many people get their digital money stolen each year? compare that to how many people get robbed in the street.
Quite a few actually. In fact, electronic fraud and theft within companies surpassed physical fraud and theft almost two years ago in both the rate and the amount of money it caused them to lose. Information-based entities were the most heavily affected of the lot. http://news.cnet.com/8301-1009_3-20019999-83.html That's not really shocking, though. It's to be expected as data is made more and more digital. [editline]21 March 2012[/editline]
I feel sorry for all swede drug users, how will you pay your dealer now??
Monopoly money. Or they could just try and develop a bartering system.
Isn't it implied that you still would need a passport? It's like getting your drivers license to people here. (User was banned for this post ("Yeah yeah, enough with your threadshitting" - Swebonny))
You have the most obscene attitude I've seen this year. Arguing doesn't work like that, you're just denying every counter argument thrown at you and then claiming "victory" in the argument. That is vain.
I stopped using cash when i got my own bank card when i was 16. Can pay at most places and those other places can go fuck themselves. Most stores here allow you to pay using your bank card but they also allow cash. Good if you want to stash your cash somewhere i guess, but also good if you don't want to turn your house into a vault.
I think that before this is adopted everywhere the "money as debt" system that keeps it all going needs to be fixed. A moneyless (not just cashless) society would be interesting but perhaps not the way to go...
I feel sorry for all swede drug users, how will you pay your dealer now??
I wonder how many of your posts are about drugs.
Physical money will not be phased out anytime soon.
What if you're underage? How will you pay for everything considering banks don't give out debit cards until you're 18?
I got mine at 11 years old here in Canada but it's probably different in Sweden.
Enjoy the next solar storm.
If I wanted to pay without physical money I would use my visa. Getting rid of physical money merely eliminates a choice which I would rather have as I prefer going with limited amounts of cash wherever I go.
This is a really bad idea. Too easy for Big Brotheresque abuse on the government's part. As stated above with the drug dealer example.
So hard to take this seriously
There's always Bitcoin, huge pain in the ass for day to day transactions, but it's always there.
What even is Bitcoin? I'm not really sure I understand the concept.
*Dumb South American Idiocy*
Is this guy for real...?
(User was banned for this post ("Yeah yeah, enough with your threadshitting" - Swebonny))
God bless Swedish.
It scares me that people are so willing to have every transaction of their lives stored on bank and/or government servers until the end of time, free for any government agent or hacker to peruse.
Are you paranoid or just buying illegal shit?
God bless Swedish.
Didn't want to ban him since it'd look a bit personal. But reading his most recent posts made it quite clear that he's either stupid or just trolling. So instead of contacting another mod I banned him. He also used an alt to rate himself. lol
