All the people overreacting and LITERALLY SHAKING/CRYING RN need to get over themselves. They're acting as if the deathsquads are rolling out in vans tonight to perform on-site removal of all the blacks, latinos and LGBTWTFBBQs in the US with machine guns like some sort of Nazi Santa Claus. Nothing is going to happen to you, chill the fuck out.
Oh boy, the alt-right people are going to be even more insufferable now. GG Americans
Let's hope that the next 4 years won't be too bad.
First big trump then junior trump is gonna come in and follow in his lead
I can't believe how wrong the overconfident Hillary supporters are now and how dumb my country is to vote trump at all. Honestly ashamed at the results.
Let's hope that the next 4 years won't be too bad.
Things will probably be fine. Trump's not going to do anything utterly retarded, or if he does he'll get it blocked in congress or by the supreme court.
Where were all you trump supporters when we were talking about when everything was fucked up? You It seems like most of you only looked at the good stuff and nothing bad about trump. Fucking hell.
Things will probably be fine. Kinda curious to see how that pans out. If he gets jackshit done, I am gonna have a good hearty laugh. But I probably won't, since his presence just means ill to climate, minorities, etc.
We fucking won! Woooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! I seriously didn't think we were gonna make it, but we crushed her! Not only that, we control the house and the senate!
And you're probably getting the Supreme Court as well. For basically anybody who isn't white, straight, conservative and christian this election is a fucking nightmare.
To keep it short; Maybe. Technically Pence has no right to do so, as it's unconstitutional, and technically they can't even repeal the decision to legalize it on a federal level. HOWEVER, this is entirely speculation. We don't know if Pence will respect the Constitution when it comes to this, and party stacked congresses tend to hold up any decision their president makes if it supports the party's ideals, constitutional or not. I'd say for now, if you can afford it, hole up somewhere like Canada.
It's not for me, it's for a friend of mine who used to post here. They definitely can't afford that, and we already live in a shitty enough place for LGBT people as it is (AL). I guess we are just going to have to see what happens.
2016 has certainly been one hell of a year, kind of scared to see what else is in store for 2017 and so on.
2017: Make Europe Great Again.
All things considered: I honestly thought we would enter electoral gridlock today, and we'd end with a Congress/Senate vote which would always end with a lot of anger. Yeah, we still got it, but its' an anger where people realize that it was an election that was lost/won fair and square. You may or may not have gotten the results you wanted, but that's how it is. On the upnote: My state voted overwhemingly for Medical Marijuana, so thank you North Dakota for being somewhat based for once. Also my neighbors are still shooting guns into the air, and throwing homemade firecrackers at each other. I cannot make this shit up, if I tried. :v:
someone pointed out to me that if Trump's success is just like Brexit's does that mean all their promises are going to be scrapped in the first three months?
I don't think I'm ready for bizzaro world...
2017: Make Europe Great Again.
You may actually get something a lot more scary, tbh. Austrian reelection happens on Dec 7th.
2017: Make Europe Great Again.
2017: Take America Back
2017: Make Europe Great Again.
More like let's have even more political instability in an area with a history of more than 500 years of exactly that
I give it two days before he starts backpeddling.
Where were all you trump supporters when we were talking about when everything was fucked up? You It seems like most of you only looked at the good stuff and nothing bad about trump. Fucking hell.
A lot of them were probably at least partly unaware of it. It seems my best friend irl voted Trump (he comes from a socially liberal Republican family so that's not really surprising) and he apparently hadn't looked into Trumps policies at all it seems because when I mentioned several of them to him his comment was that he hadn't heard of that stuff before and sounded kinda disappointed.
Also I wonder how many people got killed by stray bullets with all this shooting in the air. Or is that just collateral?

There is nothing keeping the GOP in check anymore. For at least the next two years, they have full reign to put their own agendas into full affect with little to no cooperation necessary with the Democrats. A federal ban on marijuana would be easy to push through, were they so inclined.
I don't even care about the marijuana legalization (as much as I want it legalized) when there are much more pressing matters at hand, like the climate crisis we were already facing even under Obama
What The Fuck Did You Just Do America Man we are so fucked. Really its sad. So so so sad. Sad. Very sad. This is going to be a clusterfucj.
I won $20. Yayyyyyyy

This can't be fucking real, someone wake me up please
I won $20. Yayyyyyyy
And you will lose a tenfold more than that if you're a student in the next 4 years. Was it worth it?
I don't even care about the legalization when there are much more pressing matters at hand, like the climate crisis we were already facing even under Obama
Don't hold your breath on the GOP doing anything to address climate change; you'll need your strength to face the global food crisis.

Things were legitimately starting to slowly turn around... But, hey, we sure shoved it up Crooked Hillary's wrinkly ass for getting off Scott free with those emails, right? :hurr:
Don't hold your breath on the GOP doing anything to address climate change; you'll need your strength to face the global food crisis.
Trump will grow more food, just like Mexico will pay for the wall, and manufacturing jobs will come back to America.
