Hello Facepunch, Sensationalist Headlines! I am a courier, with a message from former Facepunch user Pvt. Martin. It reads as follows:
This is all he had to say.

P.S. Fuck you Zilla, nobody cares, you gender confused twat
This part is just disgusting. It's sad that this is the mindset of many Trump/Pence supporters, and even sadder that they'll now think this is acceptable. Glad he's perma'd.
The worst part for me, will be the nonstop smuginess and validation of every Trump meme supporter that I'm surrounded by. I can't believe this is happening.

"But Trump can't win."
Pretty much sums this up.

But don't worry guys, Trump is so for LGBTQ+ people!!
Absolutely hateful, disgusting behavior.

Don't think for a second it would be any different if the other candidate won. Let's be real.
That being said, sure does feel good to be on the winning side.

Even more amusing considering he ran away from SH after he was unable to back up his belief that Trump would best for LGBT.
Over the ~1.5yrs I started paying a lot of attention to British politics, but now it just feels redundant.
Im just so disappointed right now.
I honestly feel sick to my stomach that such a person was even able to go this far. Christ.

I can't read his quote because I am not gold but I knew him on stream and I thought he was better than this.
:/

I really, really disagree with you there. Look at the amount of PepeTrump memes and all that, Hillary doesn't have cheeky memes like that.
the amount of vicious, disgusting trash i've seen thrown around by victorious trumpets tonight has had me more disgusted by my fellow countrymen than I have been in ages
it feels like scum validated by this win are crawling out of the god damn woodwork

That's what cults do to people.
I can only hope now that Our Holy God and Lord Emperor Donald Trump doesn't fuck everything up
I really, really disagree with you there. Look at the amount of PepeTrump memes and all that, Hillary doesn't have cheeky memes like that.
Maybe that just stems from lack of creativity and motivation from the Clinton camp? Admittedly, does anyone else find it baffling that of all groups Republicans really capitalized on social media and Internet presence and starting an online movement, pepe memes and all.

Yeah I don't think Hillary was in favor of those gay-conversion torture centers, but if that's worth being on the winning side sure I guess
So, did Gary Johnson actually win?
I can only hope now that Our Holy God and Lord Emperor Donald Trump doesn't fuck everything up
No, no, I hope he does. It's a pretty bad thing to say, but... After seeing how people are reacting to this win, I genuinely think that our only hope is if Trump is such a disgustingly bad president that those people are shouted the fuck back down before they gain a foothold in our society.
I don't want to live another decade of people like that feeling validated and welcome.
I'll stop mocking the right wing when they start taking people other than white, Protestant males from the upper middle class or higher with no disabilities seriously.
It maybe fun and make you feel superior. However its only fuelling the fire to help them grow, whilst your name calling they are winning votes, elections, refrendums etc.

You know that /pol/ was responsible for that. It's kind of unfair to say which side "has better memes" when Trump had a portion of a very large website full of unemployed and untrained men devoting their lives to the pursuit of ebin frog pictures and white supremacy
With Brexit and now this i'm sure historians are going to have to come up with a word for these total unexpected results and rejection of the media.
Here in Argentina we have a word for it: "batacazo". It's the word we used when President Macri managed to secure a win against all odds. He's not on the same vein as Trump though, I can tell you that, but it was still a huge surprise.
So, did Gary Johnson actually win?
He won one county afaik.
So, good for him I guess.
I cannot think of a more controversial and embarrassing election and presidential selection than 2016. I've seen the worst of both sides come out from this, people screaming and yelling at each other, punches thrown.
I cannot even call shame to anyone that voted Trump, I felt dirty casting my ballot for Hillary, even though Kentucky was going to be red no matter what. Two absolutely disgusting examples of humans put into a spotlight for all their dirt to shine and we are forced to choose.
Can't wait for shadow president 2.0....
All we can do now is continue moving on and see where this takes us. If it takes us down the wrong path then hopefully people will work together to stop it early (or at least make it a one term). If it's a not as shitty path then the good things might be okay.
I'm sad but I have hope for this being a wakeup call for both the DNC and America as a whole. We have to stay strong and hopefully push back against the bad with as much intensity as we can muster.
To cheer some of you up, here's a post on Twitter of a guy that I think makes a good point:

Mr Trump, tear down this wall
This is just... So profoundly depressing. I'm seeing so many young people spouting shit you'd think would be reserved for the mid '60s. I don't know why I thought we'd end up better than this.
Are we really doomed to repeat the same futile partisan bullshit we've been dealing with for so long?

They played a role without a doubt, but somehow a website full of umemployed and untrained men devoting their lives to the pursuit of ebin frog pictures and white supremacy is still less pathetic than a legion of paid people whose sole job is to go online and post positive things about Hillary and try change public opinion through really shallow subversion lacking any form of subtlety.
I hope every Trumpet who voted because they were sick of PC culture and being called bigots realize the hilarious irony of their choice.
By electing a totally Republican government, one that WILL work towards repealing LGBT rights, persecuting immigrints, and discriminating against minorities, you've personally completely validated social justice culture.

People don't learn from history. It repeats, over and over.
And now it repeats again, this time in the States.
I'm noticing a fairly worrying trend that the only thing you need to get elected right now is a demagogue spouting controversial rubbish.
No solid policy, no experience, no assurance that you have voters best interests at heart- just shout about how you aren't afraid to be a dick to people who aren't straight white men and make a few obvious plays on nationalism.
That's the scariest part of this for me, what kind of message is this sending world-wide?
