Thanks for electing our very first toilet president on this historic night It's funny. The whole "I'm leaving the country" joke is so played, but for real, my girlfriend and I were already playing with the idea of moving to Germany or France because the Healthcare and education systems here are so beyond fucked. It was really more of a fantasy. This morning we both agreed that we step up our research. America is deeply rooted with a cancer, and boy is it malignant. I don't have any hope that anything is ever going to get any better. I don't think it can be fixed any more. Fuck the American public for letting us get to this point. I have never been as ashamed to be an American citizen as I am now.

I'm honestly still shocked, been up through the night to lend a lil moral support to you American folk but I still can't quite understand howthis happened

Is this the dinosaur rap dude
Oh well, here's hoping garry will someday do another mass unban on his birthday and we get smurfy back SH won't be the same without his A+ class shitposts
so, is america great again?
No not yet. Obama is still president until January.
I'll go down knowing that I have a life, a future, a relationship, and a personality. Things Martin doesn't have and never will
I used to like Martin's posts in the DAAS. Who knew he was so disgusting, geez.

So when is Bernie going to be president?
Neither candidate will make everyone happy. Unfortunately, this view ended up winning. If it wasn't Trump with LGBT rights, it would be Clinton with gun control or healthcare.
Doesn't seem like a fair comparison to me. We're talking about a basic human right that is only afforded to some Americans, to give you an idea of a more fair comparison, try this: Only Americans who are heterosexual should be allowed to own firearms. We haven't sunk that low. [sp]Yet[/sp]
So when is Bernie going to be president?
You got a parallel universe teleporter somewhere? Dude's not getting any younger, he''ll probably be too old come next election time. He's basically missed his chance, one can only hope there's fresh blood with the same ideals, drive and force of personality knocking about somewhere.

Montréal is an awesome city to boot and you'll still be able to visit friends and family in the US by car. Plus you won't have to deal with the immigration crisis in Europe and we haven't suffered any terrorist attack in a very long time.
Have fun with Lena Dunham Canada.
My greatest concern with Donald, and the fully republican controlled government, is that I can only imagine more and more blockage to reforming our energy and our movement away from dependency on oil. Help us Elon Musk, you're our only hope.
I know some people might think that coal is a good choice because it is economical, but it isn't. I was familiar with the topic before, and I had researched some more over the course of the election, and on a general basis, you could remove every single emission regulation, tax or fee relating to energy usage, and there would still be more viable options. That's not to say that in the odd place (normally location dependent) coal isn't economically viable under those conditions, but even then it is generally on par not cheaper than alternatives. Coal is dying, and short of the government subsidizing it, it's not going to flourish or expand. Natural gas might, but if they're replacing coal power plants with natural gas, it is going to be cleaner ultimately. And if you want jobs, money into green energy produces more jobs than money into fossil fuels.

Oh yeah good job he was thick af and needed an advisor on everything, this may be the case with Trump but imo he is a loudmouth twat who will say and do what he wants given any leverage.

Minnesota proving that it is the best state in the Midwest, like always
My guess is that there is someone more powerful than him lurking in the shadows and if he will do a shitty job he will get impeached by that someone in higher power in no time unless that someone wants him to do a shitty job... Don't want do go full Alex Jones here but i heard that all presidential candidates have to talk to Rothschilds or something like them in a quiet room before they can attend presidential race in America?
Ain't that right.
being fair, he's totally right in that regard. that being said, this is an assumption you can make based on an eighth grade understanding of the US political system so its not saying much

The country at large, while red, is still all over the place and if he does in fact fail to keep to his promises(or just doesn't cause that much of a revolution at all) it could trash the reputation of the Republicans among the middle class, and to some degree internationally. They can always impeach him if they consider that such failures will turn him into a liability.
"we've never completely been there so we shouldn't even bother trying"
His real point was that there was a comparison of trump to a better state perceived as 'current' that actually never was. Ie, its good now, but with trump we will regress, while in reality it was never good...
Visiting the us atm for the next 3 weeks and o boy is it fun to watch the leftist social media meltdown.
why don't you stay there, you sound like the kind of person our own country really doesn't need right now generally, can we stop throwing buzzwords around, both sides? (but tbqfh mostly the side that spams "leftist" and "liberal" like it's going out of style) this retarded partisan/ideological division of left/right is dragging attention away from the main thing - solving issues yes, there are disagreements differences in thinking, but they should be worked out through intelligent discussion, not this caveman-style shitflinging. everyone is too focused on beating "them" or "those" or "the other guys" to care about how we could solve problems for the good of our countries i live in the former (and current) communist capital of Finland and you can bet i'm tired of the same old red rhetoric of "the struggle" and "butchers". nothing is going to get anywhere if all the people who should make decisions based on discussion act like chimps.
I for one am happy. I'm a republican (I'm 14 but I can have opinions :P) and I'm glad we don't have another Obama and a hardcore liar. Fact: Hillary wants to create jobs but she wants to create a centralized healthcare system, putting thousands in the healthcare industry out of jobs (Including my mother)
