You're fucking disgusting
I didn't write the Bill of Rights man, no need to insult me. Not being forced to house troops in your home is more of a right too, no one gets in a tissy over that.
so you rank the right to buy and own an object (that's only purpose is to kill things) over the right for two humans to be happy with each other and recognised legally in a world where such a thing is still only just becoming accepted right okay
yes
Guns are a state issue. Like it or not that's more of a right than be able to get married. The tenth amendment differs anything not specifically listed to be the responsibility of the states.
Imagine a scenario where you had to chose between the woman you love and your guns. What would you choose?
Somehow your argument went from "the electoral college is broken" which morphed into "the electoral college allowed trump to discriminate lgbt people" Pick a topic and stay with it. The electoral college worked as intended. Voters didn't vote Hillary enough. Accept it.
Imagine a scenario where you had to chose between the woman you love and your guns. What would you choose?
He would marry his guns and be done with it
I didn't write the Bill of Rights man, no need to insult me. Your deflections are an indication that you cant actually defend trump.
yes
explain how we're supposed to move forward peacefully as a species then if we're going to arbitrarily oppress people -edit- or better yet, how does your right to own a deadly bit of metal and wood override someone else's right to be in union with someone who happens to be of the same gender?
Imagine a scenario where you had to chose between the woman you love and your guns. What would you choose?
Can I fire my wife at a person breaking into my house to harm me or my family? Checkmate.
Guns are a state issue. Like it or not that's more of a right than be able to get married.
I didn't write the Bill of Rights man, no need to insult me. Not being forced to house troops in your home is more of a right too, no one gets in a tissy over that.
The order of the amendments doesn't correlate to the importance... [editline]9th November 2016[/editline] It's chronological...
Stop strawmaning. No one was talking about this. Your deflections are an indication that you cant actually defend trump.
I was making an example, you're the one who deflected the discussion about the electoral college to talk about LGBT issues.
Can I fire my wife at a person breaking into my house to harm me or my family? Checkmate.
If you didnt have a wife you wouldnt have a family. Good work.
Can I fire my wife at a person breaking into my house to harm me or my family? Checkmate.
Get really into shotputting and then you could manage.
Somehow your argument went from "the electoral college is broken" which morphed into "the electoral college allowed trump to discriminate lgbt people" Pick a topic and stay with it. The electoral college worked as intended. Voters didn't vote Hillary enough. Accept it.
The electoral college is intended to make up for the lack of communications technology of the 18th century. This is the 4th time the system has been unrepresentative of the actual vote. The system is outdated garbage that needs to be removed.
The order of the amendments doesn't correlate to the importance... [editline]9th November 2016[/editline] It's chronological...
Do you really believe that the first amendment wasn't put at the very top on purpose? Really?
Still reeling, even after sleeping. Really nervous for the future my kids are going to grow up in.
I was making an example, you're the one who deflected the discussion about the electoral college to talk about LGBT issues.
No i brought that up as a separate issue. Can. You. Defend. Trumps. Policies?
Its almost like im arguing two things at the same time. Who wouldve thought
I think you're in the wrong dude. You keep parroting yourself over and over again when it's clear he doesn't have anything about the LGBT crowd. You're trying to make the conversation about yourself here. I don't think anyone here actually thinks that LGBT laws should be reversed so we're talking about other things
yes
So if you had to chose between marrying the love of your life and guns you woulf choose your guns.
If you didnt have a wife you wouldnt have a family. Good work.
Are you saying my pet cat isn't family you monster E: Circumstances aside I thought it was fairly obvious I was joking as I think this thread and some people are a little too wound up at the moment (which is understandable in some cases)
I for one am happy. I'm a republican (I'm 14 but I can have opinions :P) and I'm glad we don't have another Obama and a hardcore liar. Fact: Hillary wants to create jobs but she wants to create a centralized healthcare system, putting thousands in the healthcare industry out of jobs (Including my mother)
Here in the UK, the centralised healthcare system is the single largest employer in the country, and one of the largest employers in the world. If the US was to move to a similar system, it would most likely require an increase in jobs to meet demand, not a decrease.
I didn't write the Bill of Rights man, no need to insult me. Not being forced to house troops in your home is more of a right too, no one gets in a tissy over that.

yes
I love how you redirect the argument it from you thinking that equal rights are less important than the right to bear arms to simply saying that's just what the bill of rights says, to then immediately go back and say you think equal rights are less important than the right to bear arms.
Do you really believe that the first amendment wasn't put at the very top on purpose? Really?
This is constitutional literalism in action, believing that guns are more important than people.
No i brought that up as a separate issue. Can. You. Defend. Trumps. Policies?
He hasn't released any policies about LGBT issues, he said he supported them during the RNC, good enough more me. I don't care about Pence's past policies because I don't expect any of those to fly on a national scale. [editline]9th November 2016[/editline]
This is constitutional literalism in action, believing that guns are more important than people.
They are, guns ensure security of the state. It's bigger than individual people.
Do you really believe that the first amendment wasn't put at the very top on purpose? Really?
because it was just chronological like all amendments, holy shit. christ if that was the case, then slavery being outlawed its an eh addition being number 14.
So if you had to chose between marrying the love of your life and guns you woulf choose your guns.
Calm down you're beginning to misspell words
They are, guns ensure security of the state. It's bigger than individual people.
Civilian gun owners do not ensure security of the state, the military does that.
Calm down you're beginning to misspell words
No thats my phones keyboard being garbage lol
I'm a staunch believer in the second amendment. I 100% believe that law abiding citizens should have the right to own whatever babykilling high capacity black machine guns they want and to defend themselves, their family, and their property, but I find this mentality of 'guns before everything else' extremely toxic. Guns are not more important than any other right. They are as important at best. I have friends who voted for Trump not because they agree with any significant number of his views, but because of the sole notion that "Hillary is going to take our guns away". Great. Let's screw-over all the LGBT people, the immigrants, the minorities, clean energy so that we can "keep our guns", because that is the only thing that matters to us. :terrists:
