Uh, I have rather long hair going to my shoulders, all I do is shower every other day and that's it, no special shampoo or anything, and my hair is thick as fuck. Not very much or very hard work at all with it for me.

I did this too, and when my hair grows long enough I want to do it again.
Feels nice to cut off some hair now and then. I usually have long hair, but it's curly so it's not in my eyes etc.
