I don't know if it was a joke or simple sarcasm but just in case, let me educate you.
In the year of 1492 Columbos discovered the West Indies, but when Columbos was on his 3rd voyage year 1498 he discovered the main land that we today call America, which was already owned by Indians so you're living on stolen land.
Not to pull a Godwin, though it may be justified since an oppressive regime with concentration camps and the whole dealio is involved, but that's gotta be the funniest thing I've heard since Nazi Germany said the Ghettos were there for the Jew's own good.
the DPRK does not have any such concentration camps. Concentration camps are designed to kill those that have been interned there. What the DPRK does have is labor camps, however labor camps are quite a positive thing for a society to have as it allows for prisoners to contribute back to the nation during their incarceration.
And on the subject of elections in the DPRK:
The DPRK has elections every five years, the last of which was in 2009.
Current composition of the Supreme People's Assembly

Red = Workers party
Cream = Social democrats
Pink = Chondoist Chongu
Grey = Independents
Historically both the Workers party and the Chondoist Chongu have dominated the politics of the DPRK. Indeed in the 40s it seemed much more likely that the Chondoist's would end up forming a Socialistic-Theocracy as opposed to the Marxist-Leninist DPRK that did form.
However in the last few decades support for the Chondoist's has disintegrated and in their place the social democrats have made significant gains. While the Workers party has always held a majority in the past their numbers have fluctuated.
If the DPRK was a monarchy or if its elections were rigged, as most people seem to think. Then the Workers party would either hold every seat or the composition of the Assembly would be much more static. However since the number of seats held by the Workers party has fluctuated and the the composition of the Assembly has changed to reflect the internal politics of the DPRK(The once powerful Chondoist Chongu disintegrating). I don't believe that there is any validity to the claims that the elections in the DPRK are rigged or in any other way invalid.
Are you a sleeper agent waiting for Mr Kim's words to detonate a nuclear bomb in a busy NY subway
I am a member of the KFA.

However that is the extent of my involvement with the government of the DPRK.
Besides to be a sleeper agent, i am sure that the DPRK would want you to be a Jucheist. I think that being a Leninist-Deleonist would disqualify me. :v:
Labor camps allow for prisoners to help a nation prosper. They are much more humane then the concept of throwing people into overcrowded private prisons over minor drug offensives.
Labor camps for political dissidents, but apparently disagreeing with your representatives is perfectly alright. I guess my brain hasn't been washed enough to understand the higher form of logic there.
or "Provable facts" like the elections that that do happen in the DPRK are somehow rigged, regardless of the fact that the results are available online and the Workers party has lost a number of seats in the past.
The elections must be fair because the government said so.

Alright, now I'm 100% sure that this is an elaborate trolling attempt.
Uh, no they're not.
Dirty bombs are weapons of panic. People freak out because they have no clue about radiation. If the contents of a dirty bomb is so dangerous it can kill people in the surrounding area in any reasonable time then there is no way the bomber could handle or be near the stuff. Most dirty bomb attempts have been with mildly radioactive substances. The public hears 'radiation' and freaks out, causing more damage than the bomb itself. It does nothing in the short term and reduces lifetimes by a few years in the very long term.
Uhhhh, it's called Dirty Bomb because the amount of radiation it can produce. The Radiation is what will spreads and kills people.

the real macoy if you will,
i think those fallout symbols were more like "we are prepared to fight in the nuclear rain" than suicide bombers
[editline]31st July 2013[/editline]
those backpacks probably just contain nuclear fallout survival gear, too bad they won't listen to the studies the U.S. did in the 50s and 60s about the fesability of fighting in heavily irradiated areas. its just not going to work out for anyone

dirty bombs only release irradiated dust, which is actually easy to clean. there is a big difference between irradiation and irradiated dust. when a nuke goes off, the energy released creates radioactive particles in materials, when a dirty bomb goes off, it just spreads radiactive dust
Lol, yea right. Even the smallest nukes developed by the US weighed about 50kgs
Someone should remake the Team America World Police theme song, but instead of America put North Korea. It could be thread music .

Eventually one of the suicide bombers blows up north Korea by bumping into a car by "accident" and everyone is safe.

It was a joke with a reference to people who said that during the 4th of july.

I actually feel insulted that people think that im that stupid.
This statement reminds me of Red Alert 2.
And what kind of suicide bomb would have the fucking sign for radiation painted on it?
Just so the protagonist knows they are suicide bombers when he will be fighting the horde
Oh no, more empty threats from across the world.
Anyone know what Kim's Red Alert 2 gameplay is like? I'm curious.
I'm not surprised, as its the only delivery method that would actually work for them :P
