A kid in my math class tweeted he was gonna shoot up the school and they suspended him for 3 days
A kid in my math class tweeted he was gonna shoot up the school and they suspended him for 3 days
I don't get stuff like this. The kid should get physiological help, not just blatantly suspended.
This folks is why you use a pseudonym.
This kinda reminds of the time where my ex-girlfriend made death threats to my current girlfriend at the time on Facebook. It got so bad that my ex-girlfriends mother decided to get involved with it too. I remember just sitting in the office between them all just snacking on the candies from the bowl in the middle of the table while they fought about it. :v:
if my school started paying attention to my twitter i'd probably be double expelled
I've been suspended because I tweeted song lyrics that were a 'threat to the student body', they were going to expel me and make me plead my case in front of the school board.
but it was on school grounds and you did tweet "I've got a gun, I'm gonna do it!"
I was threatened with suspension in the 6th grade because I had a note on my back that said "I like to fuck clowns" in big black letters. I wasn't entirely sure why I was getting in trouble for the first thirty minutes of the vice principal yelling at me, she didn't even have the fucking decency to remove the note. I took a shit in her garbage can a month later like I was an angry, spiteful cat. Since every kid (and teacher) hated her guts, the list of suspects was the entire school.
What the fuck is wrong with American schools. I mean, seriously, the dumb shit you hear happening in schools there defies all reason.
Man my school is lax as fuck. Dude brought in a swiss army knife so teacher told him not to bring it next time. The end.
never really got action taken on me for stupid things like this, but i did start a trend with superimposing obviously fake cups on lean on social network profile pictures as a part of the "leansquad" (which i was deemed by administration as the ring leader of). concurrently the administration thought the entire senior class was chugging codeine/promethazine before football games. [editline]24th February 2014[/editline] needless to say "purple drink" was a scapegoat for a few weeks
Explains your avatar perfectly.

Nice. 2 month vacation.
One time I blew dandelions and got in trouble.
Well, as far as stupid suspensions go, here's my experience in Russian school. One time we were fucking about on schools' backyard during a change, and for some reason, I don't really remember why, I was trying to bite off part of one really freudian-shaped fir-cone. One of the teachers saw me, took me to director and I got my parents called. Then got suspended for imitating smoking, that would be three days.

[editline]25th February 2014[/editline] I'm sorry for making you make a mess. :(
What the fuck is wrong with American schools.
I think there are some cases in school where certain privileges could be taken away due to social media conduct, such as if the member of a sports makes repeated racist remarks on his publicly available twitter, then that reflects really badly on the school, as he is a representative of the school and thus his position in the team should be up for consideration, but suspension should never be even considered in even that case.
I can't stand this mentality. No offense meant to you, of course, but I'm sick of the whole "this man represents us therefore everything out of his mouth and every action he takes reflects upon our organization and reputation as a whole." It's more of an "I'm offended!" case than anything else. Now in this case it was utter sarcasm, but even if it were some racial remark or something, why can't such things be seen as mistakes made by the individual? Unless they blatantly say something in direct reference, such as "I go to such and such school and here we call those kind of people this" I feel the whole "you're a representative" crap is nonsense.

My school just recently bought a shitton of touch screen computers and some buses... And there's a hole in the second floor roof. :tinfoil:
FUCK YOU YOU DON'T KNOW ME Yeah I'm from Alabama :c Me n' muh southern dialectical mannerisms.
Hoedown by da Bayou termorrow, y'all!
Hoedown by da Bayou termorrow, y'all!
That's a bit more to the west by lees-e-anna. I don't think I've ever heard anyone around here use hoedown, bayou, or termorrow.. Though I use ya'll. Constantly. Which is kind of strange if you hear me talk because I'm polish and.. don't necessarily have the calamity jane accent.
