Torture him and don't let him die. Show it on live tv so others who have same ideas would reconsider.
No I understand your plight but in our society it isn't like killing him would make us lower than him
Still lower than a non-dark-ages society should be.
Torture him and don't let him die.
Still lower than a non-dark-ages society should be.
Depends on who you ask, most people would prefer this man dead because of the severity and awfulness of what he has done, which I'm sure you understand
Depends on who you ask, most people would prefer this man dead because of the severity and awfulness of what he has done, which I'm sure you understand
I understand that mental illness can cause people to want others dead, and I even understand internet badass syndrome. But how a rational person can condone murdering a murderer isn't understandable to me. You either value life or you don't value life, you can't just draw arbitrary squiggly lines around the people you like and don't like and say that some deserve to die and others don't. "This guy deserves to die, his victims didn't, but his murderer won't either" It's completely illogical, the latter I mean
I don't think it's a mental illness to wish death upon a man like this |:
Then it's either internet badass syndrome or a severe case of hypocrititis
Then it's either internet badass syndrome or a severe case of hypocrititis
No seriously the majority of people would want this person dead
No seriously the majority of people would want this person dead
That's the second time you've said that, as if it's an argument. The majority of people are very often quite wrong.
No seriously the majority of people would want this person dead
The majority of people don't want to pay taxes but still want society to run perfectly The majority of people believe in Creationism The majority of people are stupid
The majority of people don't want to pay taxes but still want society to run perfectly The majority of people believe in Creationism The majority of people are stupid
And the majority of people cant decide between good or bad
And the majority of people cant decide between good or bad
To summarize this thread, basically, Murder: Bad Murder later on: Good
That's the second time you've said that, as if it's an argument. The majority of people are very often quite wrong.
I'd like you to prove that to me right now without using an opinion
Depends on who you ask, most people would prefer this man dead because of the severity and awfulness of what he has done, which I'm sure you understand
Honestly, if i could transport him to another dimension where he could frolic and play with all the other to-be killed people on death row, i would. That isn't possible yet. He is a burden on society as a whole, keeping him in a cage might make him miserable but he will eventually be miserable until he is dead, just like every other living being. Speeding up the death process to save society money and energy seems like a more sensible solution to me then just having him learn his lesson until he is dead. He murdered some one and is now in prison, i think he understands the gravity of the situation.
I'd like you to prove that to me right now without using an opinion
Well everything could be taken as an opinion if you look at it right, but let's say racial rights. Back in the 50's and beforehand segregation and unequal rights was supported by the majority of the population. It wasn't until a push by rights organizations that a shift in majority opinion happened. The same could currently be said of the majority approval of Prop 8 in Cali, despite going against equal rights.
Oh well, legally getting him killed or not he'll just get murdered in jail :v:
It's like I stepped into a time machine back to the Dark Ages. Jesus Facepunch, enough with the bloodthirst. You're making yourselves look even angstier than you really are.
People overreact. They see sense after the original outrage at people like this. Prison > execution.
Society invests a large amount of money and time into such people. Do you not understand the concept behind prison? It would be great if we could just stick people into a hole and hope they get food, water, electricity, a room, heat and guards but that just doesn't happen.
I think the governments of the world have better ways to save money than killing people off because they have no room. There are tons of millions spent everyday for unnecessary things, so before they fix that they should not base their decision on their budget for keeping their citizens alive. [editline]11:13AM[/editline]
No I understand your plight but in our society it isn't like killing him would make us lower than him
Funny how people yell "barbaric" when someone gets stoned or otherwise killed in other countries, but injecting him with poison and watching him die is civilized.
Oh my god. I don't even know what to say.
Your avatar works well here, also what the fuck
snuff said.
Damn it why did I laugh, I'm such a terrible person :smith:
Sometimes, you laugh because you're shocked.
I laughed because I found it funny. Then I noticed how I'm a terrible person for making a pun.
That's disgusting
Speeding up the death process to save society money and energy seems like a more sensible solution to me then just having him learn his lesson until he is dead.
Death penalty costs more than keeping someone in prison for life.
People who suggest killing and torturing him also support the way middle east lives in dark ages. Fuck you people, YOU are the cause our society is advancing so slowly. Why do you want to live like in the east where stoning and murder is a normal thing? I mean really, fucking savages.
My direct proof otherwise got completely ignored. Fuck you Tetra, at least I have the balls to acknowledge when i'm wrong.
