I never said that he should be charged as if he caused bodily harm. What I said was that the risk of bodily harm he posed deserved more than a misdemeanor.
I'm not really familiar with the differences between misdemeanor and felonies, I was mainly responding to your statement about his analogy and yours being different. But yeah the potential health harm induced by his behavior should add to the punishment.
What my argument originally was: it should be more than a misdemeanor. I did not say what he should be charged for, only that it is more serious than a misdemeanor Awesomecaek then misinterpreted what I said and made it sound like I was saying he should be charged as if he HAD transfered a disease andcompared driving faster than the speed limit (but still a safe speed) and not hitting anyone to jizzing in someone's coffee and not giving them a disease. Second argument: one can still drive at a safe speed (while being over the legal speed limit), and that is a victimless crime. Jizzing in someone's coffee is not. You can drive fast on the highway, and your skill as a driver or your cars handling will mean you are driving at a safe speed. Obviously surpassing this safe speed, such as going fast enough to loose control or to not be able to stop in time would be reckless endangerment of other. However, regardless of speed, an accident is still possible due to the lack of skill from other drivers and pedestrians. Jizzing in someone's fucking coffee without their consent is not at all comparable. It is your fault and yours alone. There is always going to be a victim because you JIZZED IN THEIR FUCKING COFFEE. So if you have a transmittable disease, they'll get it. This is why I made the shooting analogy. Shooting your gun/load into someone's house/coffee while you know they are home/going to drink it, without knowing if they are going to be hit/get a disease. Is this really so fucking hard to understand?
noted that she had had an ongoing issue with a experiencing a foul taste in her coffee.
Fucking gross.
Fucking gross.
Maybe it was just McDonald's coffee.
Fucking gross.
so it was happening before, or am i reading that quote wrong because thats disgusting
I'm pretty sure messing with peoples consumables is an illegal thing. Spitting in someones drink/food is generally judged with "criminal tampering". http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2008/11/fastfood_workers_charged_with_1.html In some cases if you can be judged with 4th degree assault (at least many years ago), which means jail time. But that's pretty hard to get without evidence - however this man is confessing to what he did. However, this event is the US and their laws are all over the place and different in different states, so who knows, he might not be charged with anything.
The car analogy doesn't work because speeding is a victimless crime. What he did was more like shooting a bullet randomly at a house, knowing someone was inside.
...what
Misdemeanor what the fuck? He didn't run a stop sign, he put bodily fluids in another person's drink without their permission, with sexual intent. Semen can also carry all sorts of diseases making it a potential bio-hazard. And considering her testimony, this isn't even the first time he's done it. This should be a fair bit harsher than a slap on the wrist.
...what
Read my latest post.
"Don't drink the coffee.... they put something in it... to make you forget..." (User was banned for this post ("Don't post just to put your epic reference" - Orkel))
In the UK this would be classed as battery and would carry a jail sentence (up to 6 months). Nice going making it a fine USA.
"Don't drink the coffee.... they put something in it... to make you forget..."
wow, I was gonna say that if it made sense
His victim wants this sort of thing to be considered a felony. Frankly, I'm all for this, this rates up there as pretty creepy.
In addition to the creepiness, and grossness, isn't there also a risk of infection if he has an STD?
i mean he's obviously a virgin so he clearly doesn't have any stds
wow, I was gonna say that if it made sense
Lucky you didn't then... But aside from that, what was this fucking creep thinking...
The woman told police she inspected her desk and noticed a strong odor that resembled urine
obviously something is wrong when your semen smells like piss
What sense does that make? If he did have an STD, then charge him with bodily harm and the other stuff. You can't charge people based on harm they could have done, that's absolutely backwards! "Well you were going just 5km/h over the speed limit here but if there was a mother with twins in a pram randomly crossing the highway, you would have smeared their entrails all over the place so, you are going to the slammer bruh!" What this guy did is absolutely gross and deserves punishment but trying to change the classification of a crime based on what could have happened would be absolutely batshit.
You're ignoring the fact that a very significant degree of people don't know they have an STD/STI. Unless you're the kind of person who gets a broad spectrum tests for infections transferable via seminal fluids daily (you're not) there is an inherit negligence for another persons life by doing such a thing this man did. You don't need an analogy to affirm that causing someone to ingest something that potentially has a debilitating and fatal contagion is a act of criminal negligence for human life. This is of course ignoring the fact that such a deranged act is an offensive sexual crime and an individual willing to perform such act needs mental health attention for his own safety as well as the safety of those around him, and such a need has been demonstrated here.
In the UK this would be classed as battery and would carry a jail sentence (up to 6 months). Nice going making it a fine USA.
It's fucked up. He could slap her on the ass and that's a massive problem, but making her drink his semen is only a small problem? We need to reform our laws regarding the forced ingestion (for lack of a better term) of bodily fluids by unsuspecting people.
he looked at her with a “deer in headlights” expression and quickly went into another room.
So he came and went at the same time.
tHis is fucking creepy.
When I was in Secondary school a bunch of guys jizzed into a cake mix and baked it. They took it to school and gave slices to everyone including me. [sp]It wasn't bad[/sp]
whythefdidyoueatit
Of course he has a neck that is trying to take over his head.
whythefdidyoueatit
It's not like they said "Oh hey try a slice of cum cake". It was someones birthday suprise
Wait, so spitting in somebody's general direction is assault, yet unloading into someone's coffee is just a fine? Good job, USA
Wait, so spitting in somebody's general direction is assault, yet unloading into someone's coffee is just a fine? Good job, USA
We're the country where drunk pissing in a park at 2am gets you on the sex offender registry for life, but ejaculating into a female co-worker's coffee is a slap on the wrist. Good job, indeed.
Wait, so spitting in somebody's general direction is assault, yet unloading into someone's coffee is just a fine? Good job, USA
Well fuck.
What? The Co-worker said he wanted cream, not like he specified after all...
