I don't know anyone who has it. The quips still haven't worn off. You know, "Why isn't he in school today?" "Swine flu" Apparently it's in my town though, dunno.
7 people have it in my school.
I don't think telling the age would be disrespectful.
The family asked for no futher details to be released.
The virus most likely to affect the elderly. Is this man old or was he still young?
I'm going to ignore this story because they didn't tell the age. It's too important to leave out.
ITT: Ill-informed 10 year olds
eh zombies
You know what to do...
There have been a couple of confirmed cases in my town, most of whom have now be hospitalised. If I don't make it through the summer, I just want everyone to know that I hate you all and I will see you in hell.
Aww cmon Wiggles! I love you.

Being an 05'er and all.
Apparently WHO are no longer requiring nations to send in reports on the number of cases of swine flu as it deems it an 'ineffective method of monitoring the pandemic'. Singapore has ceased all entry-point temperature checks due to increased local transmission, it also has stopped compiling an accurate list of infected. Anyone know why the hell they're doing this? Seems to me like they're just 'giving up' in notifying the public about the degree of danger this poses. [editline]12:20PM[/editline] FFFfffff Singapore, is going into the 'mitigation' phase in a few days. 1,217 confirmed cases of H1N1 here. :(
What if garry get's swine flu and dies?
garry junior will take on the legacy
It seems to be really bad where I live, in the West Midlands. I'm pretty sure at least nobody in my school has had it yet.
oh shit thats close to me D:
See if you can spot the meme

The government announced that there are now over 9,000 cases of Swine flu in the UK causing 14 deaths, 2 of them in Scotland and the remaining 12 of them in England; 5 of the 14 deaths have occured in London.
Got it! Yeah, there is apparently a vaccine, but they haven't released it yet.
There have been a couple of confirmed cases in my town, most of whom have now be hospitalised.
57 cases at my school, all confirmed, and I still have to go.
Got it!
Close, but no cigar.
2 people have it in my school and none of the schools will close, even if like 100 people get it :colbert:
Here's hoping this doesn't end up being another 1918.
Stop acting like there's no way swine flu could ever kill a healthy middle-aged man, of course it can.
Shit this is just like bird flu, people dying in the streets wait
I have c-2 deficiency (which means extremely low immune system) I even asked my doctor if I should be worried and he blatantly said "No"!
i have c-2 deficiency (which means extremely low immune system) i even asked my doctor if i should be worried and he blatantly said "no"!
r.i.p.
Gas masks at the ready fokes!
Most likely he had other problem the doctors didnt know. If lots of healty people start dieing because of the swine flu, then we will have reason to worry. At the moment, its not much stronger than a normal flu.
Got it! Yeah, there is apparently a vaccine, but they haven't released it yet.
They're not allowed to by law, because they need to test it a tonne.

its spread round my area i laugh
They're not allowed to by law, because they need to test it a tonne.
Splurgy, not to be a bummer or anything, but people think the incubation period is something like 3-5 days, so you might have caught it.
