What Trump said was dumb
I wanted to know what lead to the formation of ISIS and RG4ORDR answered that
Sooo... for how long are you gonna support this orange turd just because his party *might* be better for nuclear power (and probably much worse on coal and the like)? What kind of stupid shit would he have to say to dissuade you?

Yea Trump is another climate change denier :dead:
I wonder how long a Trump speech would be if you cut out every sentence that was just a repeat of what he already said 5 seconds ago.

Oh right, the founder. The founder of ISIS. The founder chosen especially to found ISIS. ISIS Founder. That founder?
Oh right, the founder. The founder of ISIS. The founder chosen especially to found ISIS. ISIS Founder. That founder?
Obama did 9/11. He did it. He flew the plane. Did 9/11. 9/11? Obama.
I see people who tell me, people come up to me and tell me, they tell me Obama did 9/11. People say that Obama did 9/11. He did 9/11! Obama did 9/11.
Telling people Hillary is the co founder of IS and telling them they can use guns to stop her.
At what point does his incoherent babbling become incitement to violence?

Its like when you need to write an essay with a certain word count so you fluff it out.

HIT THE NUKE BUTTON, TRUMP
[White House explodes]
WROOONG BUTTOOON
Is anyone bothering to look into how ISIS started and if Obama's actions lead to its creation? Wasn't it the Arab Spring that caused the instability in the Middle East that lead to ISIS?
isis was created before Obama was even president
don't try to get out of this one mr slippery
Remember when trump said (in april) he was gonna start being presidential and we'd be bored of him? Whatever happened to that?

It's marketing talk, he focuses on buzzwords and phrases that he wants people to remember. The thing is, he just sounds like a kid saying awful shit and it's memorable for the wrong reasons.
It's Presidential tradition though because Bush founded Al Qaeda.

Cant wait to see what terrorist organisation hillary will create
The way this guy speaks, Im leaning more towards insidious rather than stupid.
It's almost like he's got his audience under the influence of something and is in the process of brainwashing them. Or he's some kind of messed up orange cult leader and knows they are taking everything he says to heart.
Obviously he hasn't actually drugged his audience, they are just being complete morons, but it's still fucking creepy to watch.

"shillary created ISIS, or was that Al-Nusra, i dont know, shit, lets put it down that shillary created ISIS"
"but didnt obama create ISIS"
"nobody cares enough to find out now do as I say"

It's a legitimate way of manipulating people's mind by repeating very simple sentences to get your point across and it worked very well in the Primaries for him even if more educated critical thinking people see through it.
it may seem dumb to us but guess what, it works.
Reminds me of how kids shows repeat phrases to help babies learn to speak.
If any American created ISIS it would be Dick Cheney

One really good method of marketing is repetition.

It works with his followers. It's not something that works for you, but it targets the right audience.

I know smart people that are following Trump, just as I have read literal mathematicians and nuclear physicists get caught up in cults.
Why does this man say the same thing over and over like that?
RNC just about ready to give up on Trump.
But every bond has its breaking point. For this partnership, the moment nearly arrived in early August. Priebus was on vacation when he learned that Trump had declined to endorse Paul Ryan, the Speaker of the House and a close friend. The chairman had a frank message for the nominee, according to two Republican officials briefed on the call. Priebus told Trump that internal GOP polling suggested he was on track to lose the election. And if Trump didn’t turn around his campaign over the coming weeks, the Republican National Committee would consider redirecting party resources and machinery to House and Senate races.

Why does this man say the same thing over and over like that?
It's been explained numerous times in the thread already.
Something I am willing to admit to Facepunch is that I love listening to Trump speak. I'm no Trump fan and I don't like most of his policies, but I am fascinated by his methods of exploitation. I think repetition is something a lot of presidential candidates do because it's the same thing a lot of marketers do. You see it in commercials, you see it in business meetings, you see it in work training, and it's because it's something that can really stick.
The way he repeats himself so many times in slightly different ways is almostl ike he's trying to convince himself that the bullshit he's saying is real.
Now in reality, It's not completely absurd that if not for all the chaos and war in the middle east caused by the states, the current terrorist organization might not be as extremist as it is today. But there have always been terrorist cells in the middle east.
So in a way, he's not entirely wrong, he's just an asshole.

I really want to know whether he's doing this all consciously or not. Does he even know he's feeding them bullshit with dumbed-down marketing speak?
Will the GOP ever be able to fix the rift Trump has created in the GOP? The world may never know
I want a website called "Today Trump Said" that just logs all the wacko shit this man says in a chronological list.
Will the GOP ever be able to fix the rift Trump has created in the GOP? The world may never know
According to Alan Abramowitz, If Trump wasn't GOP nominee, GOP would have a close race this year and may have even won.
He's already may have started campaign autopsies already.
I guess in the same way Trump saying 2nd Amendment people can do something to prevent Clinton from becoming president means that he is calling for an open hit on Clinton in the campaign

The way he worded it assumed that she was president and that the only people who could stop her from appointing judges are "second amendment people. Considering the second amendment deals specifically with arms, the undertones are clear.
In this case everyone but you heard exactly what Trump meant

So far the closest we've got to that is run by the man himself.
Go follow his twitter. It's a cot damn gold mine.

"Hillary wants to abolish -- essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, if she gets to pick, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don't know."
you're right that people only hear what they want to hear though, since you aren't listening at all
