That worked SO well the last time we tried that.
I am NOT saying we should go back, if anything I agree with those who say "they're a big-boy country now, let them work out their own problems", just saying that if I recall we did the same shit years ago that actually put Saddam in power (though for a time he actually worked out pretty well), we did the same shit in Afghanistan, and lo and behold, some people aren't learning from history.
