That guy totally sounds like Jack Black.
[editline]18th September 2012[/editline]
not really it's just funny
why do you think half the world thinks videos of people getting hurt one way or another are funny? (fail compilations and stuff like that)
because that is what the larger majority of society has conditioned them to understand and believe as the concept of 'funny'
My friend usually tackles me in a way i dont actually feel a thing as i hit the ground. Even if i resist.
What the fuck have you and your friend been up to recently?
makes you a slight bit sadistic
Then AFV is a sadist's paradise.
If this is a justified use of a TASER, then what would constitute an unjustified use? Because this guy wasn't being threatening or violent, he was being a jackass and trying to push through but electrocution with a device known to actually kill people should never be the go-to response of any law enforcement officer.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't get some small pleasure out of seeing the asshole get zapped, but 'he's being a snarky asshole' is never a justification for excessive force. There are many ways to subdue or repel a non-violent offender (and which police are always trained in) that do not require intense electrocution. Just watch any sort of traffic stop arrest.
I like how the guy who tasered him just had the most expressionless face ever, like it's a daily thing.
I'm about 99.98% sure that if he had just pulled the taser out the guy would have just stepped back and kept yapping instead of trying to push through. Instead he pulls it out, says step back, then in the same second just shoots him with it.
This guy actually knows his rights. Too bad he was just trying too start shit with that douche bag that had that little grin on his face.
He acknowledged the taser was there and he refused to do anything, he should of stopped talking and just went.
You'll notice despite warnings and even showing him the weapon he was reluctant to even move his finger
He did not deserve it.
What was up with the guy refusing to say his name and declaring fake ones and all that?
I see no problem with what they did, the guy was acting like a complete ass. Nobody was being rude to him, he was pushing his weight around like he is the king of the world and he had to learn the hard way that he is just another person.
He acted like a child just trying to push him way through the officers, that was a huge mistake.

What would P. Barnes do?
If they tackled him then there could be more injuries than having been tased.
No, no there wouldn't have. Tasers can kill people with heart problems.

Nowhere does it say that you can tase someone for being an ass. That is not an adequate justification.
So if someone does something wrong, they should be given the tazer?
Have you ever heard of, you know, using some other method than the tazer?
Its like american police are not trained to put a guy on the floor without the use of a weapon.
Bro, he was being a complete dick. He deserved it. He was disobeying what the officer was telling him, #1 rule is always do what they say, even if its wrong you will get in less trouble.
Robert Peterson, 21, who was contesting a citation for riding his bike at night without a light,
FUCK THE POLICE
No, no there wouldn't have. Tasers can kill people with heart problems.

Wow I didn't know you could see into the hypothetical future.
Tell us more.
You know if this guy was shot dead people would be like "why didn't they just taze him he doesn't deserve that"
You know if this guy was shot dead people would be like "why didn't they just taze him he doesn't deserve that"
He doesn't deserve to be shot. It would be more like "tackling is police brutality!"
There's no use in arguing because people will always find flaws in how police do their jobs.
[editline]18th September 2012[/editline]
Which isn't always a bad thing I should add.
Of course he doesn't deserve to be shot that'd be absurd but facepunch always wants cops using tazers on people who are being a pain in the ass or threatening to the public (though he wasn't threatening he was just being a pain in the ass)

He was trying to force his way past security, he was exhibiting uncooperative behavior, and they had no idea what his goals were.
Were they going to risk it? No.
It was this part that I was addressing
(though he wasn't threatening he was just being a pain in the ass)
exactly, you do know I'm for the tazering of him
and here, kids, you'll see what scientists refer to as a "dipshit"
Lol the "Please step back." wasn't for this assholes safety, it was for the guards so the dude doesn't somehow fall on him and conduct the current.
He warned him multiple times to back up. He could have tazer'd or tackled him after his first attempt at forced entry. He warned him politely. He didn't once raise his voice or act unprofessional. I don't see how this guard could be in the wrong even slightly, his tazer obviously didn't do much more than knock the dude on his ass and startle him, he doesn't appear to be in any pain at all.
Stop being self righteous idiots, and stop feeling bad for some cop-baiting douche. He doesn't deserve your pity and hes such a smartalic cunt he likely wouldn't want it anyway.

Either way he doesn't have much more than a bruised ass.

I don't think you understand the point at all.

Yes, but that's not the case. There's a reason why people shouldn't use tasers willy nilly.
Why are you guys arguing? Its a tazer
Shit has no long lasting effects

The guy tried to shove his way through them and then when he was rejected he got confrontational, he wouldn't back down so they used non lethal force. Problem solved, no one got hurt. Maybe a loss of dignity but he will go on to live another day and next time maybe he won't have his head up his ass.
Reminds me of the guy that openly carried an AR-15 variant in a public park just to fish for a reaction by the police. Then, he attempted to zing them with his superior knowledge of the Second Amendment.
It was posted here a while back, but I can't find it.
I think this was the result he was hoping for. He was hoping he would make a scene so he can make a point and use whatever happened to him as ammunition.
