"Hey you know what, you guys are really overstepping your bounds right now"
He said that so calmly after being tasered
The guy tried to shove his way through them and then when he was rejected he got confrontational, he wouldn't back down so they used non lethal force. Problem solved, no one got hurt. Maybe a loss of dignity but he will go on to live another day and next time maybe he won't have his head up his ass.
Here's the problem, you're saying confrontational as if it means that's when you're allowed to taser someone.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taser_safety_issues
Tasers do have their risks, but so does everything else. Even OC spray and having to go hands on.
People have died from every police technique to subdue and restrain a suspect.
However, with the amount of times a taser has been used - the amount of deaths involved are actually quite small and are likely the result of other circumstances. (Such as the suspect's health, the suspect obtaining injuries during their fall, etc.)
If you want to avoid being physically subdued, tasered, or OCed, which may or may not (Although, likely will not...) lead to serious injury or death - then it's best to just avoid creating circumstances such as this all together. If you decide to get pushy with Courthouse security what do you EXPECT is going to happen? You think they will toss you a fruit basket and pat you on the back?
I think they handled this situation very well. This guy first of all is borderline crazy. He wanted attention with his little tirade and he got it. I hope he enjoyed his dosage of "Act right."

Yes but tasers are hugely more dangerous to those with heart problems. And heart diseases are pretty god damn common.
I think they handled this situation very well.
Very well is implying everything was perfect.
The man who tasered him should have given him more than a half second warning. Tasers are a last resort, not a put down for people who are annoying you like so many shit kickers in this thread seem to be saying it should be used for.
I love how after he gets tased he's still fighting the guys for his rights, or lack thereof. It's hilarious to me how he refuses to give up even though it's obvious he's wrong and he lost.
[editline]e[/editline]
The part where he says the law the guy follows doesn't belong to him is also hilarious. Just the way he responds is so condescending and snide that you can see the guy with the taser suppressing his anger in favor of diplomacy.
What was up with the guy refusing to say his name and declaring fake ones and all that?
It's a pseudo-legal political belief called 'freemen on the land'
Here's the problem, you're saying confrontational as if it means that's when you're allowed to taser someone.
He was given the chance to back up and the sight of the taser would make a normal man back off but this guy pushed his luck like a child. He was given plenty of time to back away but he didn't budge so they tased him. When a figure of authority tells you to back away while he is holding a taser you back up, and if you don't then you can't bitch when you get tased. End of story.
whoops wrong thread
No, no there wouldn't have. Tasers can kill people with heart problems.
And tackling someone can fracture their skull.
Do you have a point?
Hahaha, he came there with his mother saying they were restricting his rights as a US citizen while he said he was not a US citizen, spouting random bullshit about how he was not a person, and then saying they were restricting his rights as a person... Then he tried to push his way past two police officers, so they tazed him. You can even hear that he didnt overuse the taser. I have seen those things pump electrisity for several seconds, he could talk clearly after he hit the ground. P. Barnes simply used the tazer as a means of getting him on the ground, without having to tackle him, which could have given him more severe injuries, especially concidering how P. Barnes is a titan amongst men.
I still can't believe he came there with his mother though... I cant imagine how embarrased she must be.
That guy sounded just like jack black...
P. is my hero.
geniunely finding this funny makes you a slight bit sadistic
Then so be it. I'm a slight bit sadistic in your eyes, say it as much as you want, I was roaring with laughter.
Thinks he's above the law, proceeds to go to court anyway and cite a right guaranteed by the Constitution.

I'm pretty sure she is the woman at 3:20 saying that he didn't require tasering.
It's kind of incredible how neutral she sounds, very little inflection of concern in her voice at all. I guess she either doesn't want to be recorded making a scene or she is an ice cold mother.
What the fuck have you and your friend been up to recently?
Haha, we've been on the same karate classes. He has been doing it for 10 years iirc, i've been doing it for just 1 year.
I just dont get why people think that unarmed stuff only happen in some anime shows.
He was more deserving of a tackle than a tazer.

That's what they all say.
Have to say I'm more with the Taser argument, although he could've waited two or three seconds before doing it, did seem a bit abrupt.
Gotta love it how the guards took this professionally.

If this is the case -then do not break the law and get into a position that would result in force being used against you?
What about physical altercations that are very stressful physically - those can be bad for people with heart conditions.
So can, potentially, the high stress involved in OC.
It's a pseudo-legal political belief called 'freemen on the land'
They call themselves sovereign citizens, and they are actually quite dangerous in some cases.
They do not see themselves as citizens under the federal government and oppose all laws. Yet they whine about their rights. They are willing to go to very high stakes to defend their 'rights'. They are above the law and believe they are firmly allowed to kill police officers who try to enforce the law on them. ( There was a shooting of two police officers in I believe was Tenn. by an Ohio father and his son who were 'sovereign citizens'.)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taser_safety_issues
there's a lot of [citation needed]'s in there.
Reminds me of the guy that openly carried an AR-15 variant in a public park just to fish for a reaction by the police. Then, he attempted to zing them with his superior knowledge of the Second Amendment.
It was posted here a while back, but I can't find it.
This is the guy you speak of
http://www.youtube.com/user/Markedguardian
He has literally about 100 or more videos of him doing the same fucking thing. He actually carried a gun into a police station and refused to give it up.
lol what a smug idiot, I am glade he got his ass kicked. The officials weren't in the wrong in my opinion sure it escalated pretty fast, but he was an idiot.

shit ninjaed
He had plenty of warning. I think it looks worse than it is because the officer steps back, creating space between them. Kinda gives the illusion the guy with the camera moved back but he doesn't, and he doesn't show any signs of it either.
lol that guard was so cool about it good on him
For everyone arguing over the tazer, would you rather get a short zap like that guy did, or get your ass tackled by that security guard?
reminds me of this:

Somehow I find the "Stop, please" more funny than him getting tazed
Dont get me wrong, the guy was a dick and deserved to be tackled, but tazer? Really?
Tackling him would have been more problematic and has a higher risk of injury than a taser. Plus tackling would have actually been considered battery.

but this could be considered battery with a battery... no?
