Hope they'll expand the destroyable space ships feature from 2
The space fights were the best.
Shortly thereafter, a former Free Radical Design employee said some of the technology Free Radical developed for the game, specifically the contiguous game environment from planet surface into space, "is dying with us"
Even if there was a Battlefront 3. I highly doubt we'll ever see most of the features Free Radical had in store.

I don't really see how Free Radical could even say that. They're not overseeing the development of the game anymore, so saying "Yeah they're totally not doing that thing that we were gonna do." is kind of a huge assumption to make.
That being said, I would honestly be surprised if they DIDN'T do it, since there's huge fan hype and request for that specific feature above all others, so if they're keeping their ear to the ground and listening to feedback, they'll probably include it in some form.
This game best look nice and have ragdoll physics yo, I don't wanna see em pull a Halo 4 on us.
I never played the series other then a couple times at my friends, but Facepunchers seem really excited and happy so that makes me glad too, so great.

What do you mean? 'pull a Halo 4'.

What does that mean?

Huh?
I have a feeling this is going to turn into a generic FPS clone like most modern games are nowadays.
Battlefront never felt like other games, which is what made it awesome.
What do you mean? 'pull a Halo 4'.
Pulling a thing that a game still in development has done?

Halo 4 still using death animations and sub-par graphics, I could see the same shit happening here yo. I'm on that psychic shit just a lil bit.

I'm sure that those are place holders because they're still making the game.
I'm not overly excited about these news, considering it doesn't really show if it's still being worked on.

I think the game looks alright, let's not forget it's for the Xbox. The 2005-box. Plus the ragdoll physics in it are pretty great. That engine laid the basis for the most hilarious teabagging of any game ever.

Subpar? Its one the best looking games on the 360 judging from the released footage.
Also, what death animations?

Placeholders, game running on platform running obsolete hardware. Halo 4 is doing a damn good job for that it's limited to. 343i managed to make the game look beautiful. It's called resource conservation.

I think it may be because LucasArts asked for their code they worked on for Battlefront 3 and just gave a big ol' fuck you to them. They could emulate something like that but if a new company had to start from scratch, I don't know. Though it's a rumor that if Spark Unlimited is the one developing, I'm gonna have low expectations from the creators of Turning Point: Fall of Liberty and Legendary.

Best looking on 360 don't mean much yo. 360 is dated as fuck. Basically I'm worried this game won't be on next-gen console cause if it ain't it's gonna be unimpressive technologically.
And Halo 4 be all about them same animations Halo 1 used, ya know the ones that happen when you melee, or get hit by a grenade and go flying.

I remember you in the Mass Effect thread, not completely sure if you're a troll or not.

The technology 343 is using in this engine is going to used as in the next gen xbox for Halo 5 and 6. Much of it is brand new technology, do you know how many years and millions this has costed 343?
And Halo 4 be all about them same animations Halo 1 used, ya know the ones that happen when you melee, or get hit by a grenade and go flying.
Yeah, I can't take you seriously anymore, they are not using the same animations as Halo 1.
And you are even more funny for taking this stupid assumptions based off of Alpha footage of a vidoc, Placeholder galore. You really have no clue what you are talking about.

I was talking bout Battlefront 3 when I said I was worried, I know Halo 4 is on 360.
And dunno b I'm a Halo fan I wouldn't make that shit up, I watched the gameplay snippets they showed and was like the fuck son, is this Halo Reach?

It looked like Halo 3 running on the Reach engine (which is just what I wanted)
The Reach engine is an upgraded version of the Halo 3 engine, so basically it looked like Halo 3 with better graphics. If they were gritty it'd look like Reach but it's got that Halo 3 aura over it. Clean and colorful.
Which is pretty great IMO.

Yeah, you right son. Go to 3:36. It's the same damn shit. Why bother making 5 games in a franchise over the course of 11 years if you still gonna be using the same animations and engine that the first game used yo? It ain't too much to ask that the new trilogy be something new.
So has any reason been provided for why this information has been put on the files of a Resident Evil game?
EDIT: Nevermind.

/facepalm
You are seriously judging a game over bits of very early footage of it's alpha stages of development? Still using the same animations and engine as the first game?
No clue what you are talking about. No clue how the design process of games work.
