Huffington Post is more salty than Lot's wife at the moment.
My point is, these few precincts in this one state isn't going to determine the entire out come of the entire election.
But they are still a part of it, and they still do matter. Whether or not they have a major impact or a minor impact is irrelevant; they have an impact, so we should take them seriously and expect them to be treated as a serious thing.
Feel the fucking bern bitches
I wouldn't call it feel the bern, New Hampshire and Vermont are his two most-popular states. There would be major problems for Sanders if it was even close to a tie.
Shame Kasich was so close to beating trump.
No, not really he has less than half of Trumps votes
Literally no one was expecting Clinton to win New Hampshire. Neither political analysts nor the Democrat establishment. This result means nothing for Clinton, it only goes to show that Sanders can win some primaries. She might as well have conceded before the NH polling was even opened.
Doesn't matter; she didn't even try to put up a fight. That's the headline here, and that's what we need to run with.

They may not be wrong but you can say that about quite a few people.
Doesn't matter; she didn't even try to put up a fight. That's the headline here, and that's what we need to run with.
There is really no headline in that lol

She fought to lower his margin of victory. It was never important to her to actually win NH just make the landslide much smaller.
Doesn't matter; she didn't even try to put up a fight. That's the headline here, and that's what we need to run with.
why would she not even bother putting up a fight?
There is really no headline in that lol
As quickly as she conceded, sure there is. Make one out of it.

Hillary is about to talk apparently.

Glory to Hilary

The reason this is downplayed is so that Bernies victory doesn't make an impact.
It could end up really hurting her and painting her as someone not even willing to put up a fight
Why would she do it, then? There has to be a reason.
So now that Trump won NH, where is he going to go next?
Wait holy shit, Clinton conceded?

it begins
Bernie and Trump is the best possible outcome, and, for once, we got it.
Really not a surprise about Sanders. This is his strongest state. If it had been a close call for him here it would have been incredibly damaging, but a strong victory in this just isn't a big hairy deal. What he really needed was Iowa, which he unfortunately fell short on. Might be a bit early to say that his campaign is dead, but it has a long way to go and a lot of momentum to generate if he's to have any shot of taking the presidency.

how did he fall short in Iowa, he literally came within .5% of beating her there, which is to say, pretty much a victory, how is it a victory for clinton to win against an independant socialist by less than .5% when she's got the entire establishment behind her?

Not really, dude. Like, I dislike Hillary as much as the next guy, but this is some incredibly wishful thinking. New Hampshire is Bernie's strongest state, polls have had him with a strong lead here for ages. It's not "giving up" so much as it is just accepting the reality of the political situation here and focusing efforts on more important battleground states.

I honestly have to agree with a few analysts stating that Bernie's near neck and neck tie with Clinton hasn't smashed any chance of her winning but its starting to feel a lot like 08 again.

Iowa was one of his strongest states. Losing that, even by a close margin, is a serious blow to his campaign, and a damning sign of times to come as the primaries move on to states where he has less support. Winning Iowa, followed up by a strong lead in New Hampshire, was crucial to the effort of building momentum that could help carry him into the more embattled states, and he did not win. So, he fell short. It was a loss. There's isn't a "close, but no cigar!" prize in politics. It wasn't "pretty much a victory," it was a straight loss. If he could not overcome Hillary in Iowa, then he does not have the momentum to surpass her in his less popular states (barring some incredible unexpected event of some sort).
Here we go with BDA gotta bring down our bernie spirits. Let us enjoy his fucking win

The gap is now back up to near 18%
That's insane.

lol I'm not trying to "bring down your spirits," I'm just analyzing the political situation. I am also a Bernie supporter, I'm just a realistic one. I think it's great that he took New Hampshire, sure. If nothing else, the fact that he made it far enough in this race to not only make it to the primaries, but to actually take a state? That's incredible! I never would have predicted that a year ago. It does not, however, mean that he has the momentum necessary to take the nomination.
