Here in Crete the KKE (Communist Party) has gained more and more support, they're extremely anti-American and constantly have rallies. It's even been considered to evacuate the American families here (like me) if things start to lose control.
Well this isn't to surprising, you usually get this when the country goes to shit, people jump at extreme solutions.

It's a political ideology that embraces a lack of freedom, nationalism, xenophobia, power to one specific group through military might, and social darwinism (aka there is no good or evil, just those who are strong enough to rule). It's bad.
