Lol anyone voting for clinton likely doesn't have morals. Trump is still only my alternative to bernie, who retains a great chance despite all your unwarranted pessimism
but you know i dont trust hilary and stuff
Trust her to do what's right? I don't trust her to do that either. In fact, I can trust her not to do certain things that really need to be done. Trust her to basically leave us with an intact country in four years? Yes, I think I can trust her to do that. Destroying the country would be bad for Big Business. I can trust Rubio or Kasich to do the same. They won't reverse the decline, but they won't kill America. Trump is the special combination of crazy and incompetent that could, within four years, leave us in pieces. Cruz as well. We may reach 2020 and find that America isn't even a superpower anymore - hell, not being a single country is not a far-fetched consequence of four years of Trump or Cruz.
He flip-flops on nothing.
Trump has flip-flopped on virtually everything though. He used to be a Democrat years ago.
What's embarrassing for me? My candidate is crushing everyone.
would you suck his dick tho?
Trump has flip-flopped on virtually everything though. He used to be a Democrat years ago.
That's not flip-flopping, flip-flopping is a sudden reversal. Many years ago is not suddenly.
What's embarrassing for me? My candidate is crushing everyone.
Plenty of democratically elected politicians are national embarrassments.
Trump has flip-flopped on virtually everything though. He used to be a Democrat years ago.
I've learned my lesson trying to discuss issues with Trump supporters: don't. Their support is entirely emotional.
(calm down i was making fun of cody, im absolutely voting hilary if it comes down to hilary v trump)
Hillary being untrustworthy is one aspect of why she's not getting my vote.
At this point, since Sanders won't be going too far bar the event of divine intervention, I'm going with trump. At least he's open about how insane he is, whereas Hilary is secretly insane
Hillary being untrustworthy is one aspect of why she's not getting my vote.
Explain to me, as a Bernie supporter, how Trump is trustworthy [editline]1st March 2016[/editline]
At this point, since Sanders won't be going too far bar the event of divine intervention, I'm going with trump.
Explain to me, as a Bernie supporter, how Trump is trustworthy
For one thing, Trump doesn't try to cover up rapes.
For one thing, Trump doesn't try to cover up rapes.
I wasn't asking for a Trump supporter to keep blabbing about Trump, I was asking the Bernie supporter.
I wasn't asking for a Trump supporter to keep blabbing about Trump, I was asking the Bernie supporter.
How is it blabbing if it's true?
That's not flip-flopping, flip-flopping is a sudden reversal. Many years ago is not suddenly.
It makes you wonder though, doesn't it? Compared to Rubio and Cruz he's not as hardline conservative. He's said it himself that he's flexible. (not a bad thing). It makes me doubt the doom-sayers. If Trump wants to win big he's going to have to mellow out a bit after the nomination and he's probably willing to do that.
Explain to me, as a Bernie supporter, how Trump is trustworthy
If I listed all the things hillary has been known to lie about versus the things donald has been shown to lie about, the lies on hillaries side may not be as numerous or frequent, but the impact and implications of them are far more serious than what trump lies about. I'm still not totally over the theory that clinton had vince foster killed for knowing too much about the travel staff situation in the 90s
How is it blabbing if it's true?
It's blabbing because the question wasn't directed to you at all and you couldn't help yourself but to respond about it. It's as if you just enjoy yourself talking about Trump even when it's unwanted. [editline]1st March 2016[/editline]
If I listed all the things hillary has been known to lie about versus the things donald has been shown to lie about, the lies on hillaries side may not be as numerous or frequent, but the impact and implications of them are far more serious than what trump lies about. If you're going to call someone a liar, you present proof of it.

People change.

The only reason I can see for a Bernie supporter to flip to Trump is: if Hillary wins, Dems will only really be able to vote for her second term. If Trump wins, Dems can vote for a new candidate in 4 years. Is 4 years of Trump better than 8 years of Hillary?
It makes you wonder though, doesn't it? Compared to Rubio and Cruz he's not as hardline conservative. He's said it himself that he's flexible. (not a bad thing). I'm almost certain that if he gets the nomination, he will lighten up on the rhetoric, and if he's actually elected as president, he won't even push for his more insane policies because he himself knows that they 1. are impossible to push through and 2. will destroy America.
Think of all the walls that could be built if he had the full 8 years.
Really want to risk 4 years of Trump, let alone 8?
yes
Don't have time to answer all of your bullshit quibbles, but I'll hit the big ones:
He wants safe zones set up for Syrians in SYRIA. He doesn't want them here. He doesn't want to deport all muslims, he wants a temporary ban on letting them in. Do some basic research.
Trump supports accepting Syrian refugees in America Trump will look at all options to get rid of Muslims, although I concede that saying he wants to "deport" them is potentially an exaggeration. Nevertheless, even saying he wants a blanket block on Muslim immigrants is blatantly unconstitutional.
Gun control is made up, we need to focus on mental health issues.
Doesn't change the fact that in 2000, he supported the Assault Weapons Ban, and now wants to eliminate gun-free zones.
He spent his whole life spending money to solve problems, it worked. He's worth $10 billion.
That is his own evaluation, which includes valuing his own name at $3,300,000,000. Outside sources, even when given access to his corporate finances have never valued him nearly that high. Forbes spots him at $4,500,000,000, which is the highest I can find. Some estimates go as low as $150,000,000, and at many points his net worth has been sharply negative. (I like to write out large numbers in full to show their true scale).
You're making up that family bullshit, he said this “I would be very, very firm with families,” “Frankly, that will make people think, because they may not care much about their lives, but they do care, believe it or not, about their families’ lives.” If you actually saw some of the shit ISIS does to innocent US citizens you could see why he wants to be firm with them. You look at the attack in California, France, Germany. These people are monsters.
"And the other thing with these terrorists is, you have to take out their families. When you get these terrorists, you have to take out their families."
Using his donations is a bad thing? What is he supposed to do with the money from donations?
Using donations is not a bad thing. Loaning your campaign money, then making your #1 selling point the "fact" that you're self-funded, then repaying that loan with donations, is a bad thing.
Think of all the walls that could be built if he had the full 8 years.
Canada is in 2020, get ready.
Oh my god is anyone watching Hillary's speech? She's a fucking hypocrite lmao
Can't stump trump guys. As said above he's more moderate than the other Republicans, is less of a liar than Hillary and frankly is the best alternative to Sanders (who was sadly never really going to stand a chance anyway).
