He realised he didn't have the background to be a left-wing nutter, so he became a right-wing nutter instead. I'm almost certain that if he gets the nomination, he will lighten up on the rhetoric, and if he's actually elected as president, he won't even push for his more insane policies because he himself knows that they 1. are impossible to push through and 2. will destroy America.
I'm pretty sure of that, too. People seem to forget that Presidents can rarely get their big campaign promises completed. Sanders becoming President is only the start of his battle. He's got to get his policies through congress and senate without them being dissected, poisoned, and turned into shitty inefficient husks of what they're supposed to be so that the opposition can say look how shitty socialism is. The same stands for everyone, really.
People who think sanders doesn't have a chance aren't paying attention
Oh my god is anyone watching Hillary's speech? She's a fucking hypocrite lmao
yeah love it cant wait to vote for her
Oh hey, Cruz won his home state I guess he won't be dropping out just yet
Oh my god is anyone watching Hillary's speech? She's a fucking hypocrite lmao
I am. Her fucking talking is so low effort and low intensity that I'm about as riveted to my seat as the Titanic's rivets were to it's hull.
Clinton wins texas
People who think sanders doesn't have a chance aren't paying attention
The irony is astounding with you. He's lost in almost every state so far. He tied in Mass. the state right next to his home one. Clinton demolished Bernie in Texas, which is a HUGE amount of delegates for her.
Oh hey, Cruz won his home state I guess he won't be dropping out just yet
It was pretty much expected for him to win, it was really only about seeing how close trump came in second
Of course Cruz won Texas. If you can't win your home state you ain't shit.
It was pretty much expected for him to win, it was really only about seeing how close trump came in second
CNN had some people earlier talking about how there is no reason for Cruz (or any candidate in this situation) if he cannot win his home state.
I don't even know what a Trump victory would mean. I get it, he sells himself as a businessman who could sell ice to an eskimo - but I don't believe that'll withstand presidential politics; the Republicans seem to have become what I can only describe as 'the emotion party' and their present emotion for Trump is 'loathing'. The only thing I imagine is his presidency causing a schism in Congress and the Republican party severing itself completely from the base that Trump attracts [making a 3rd/4th party]. That and constant loud arguments/threats from both Trump and the Republicans at each other which go nowhere. But what do I know; I'm not a political analyst. I just can't imagine it all working out, barring Trump being some kind of political savant. He's shown he can get votes but I just can't see him running the country like it was a company. A company gets to pick its employees; he can't 'fire' the American people or its elected representatives and he doesn't strike me as a man who's open to outside opinions with him unequivocally stating what other people/groups/companies/countries/religions will or won't do, no matter what they say about it. At least it's going to be an eventful run up to the election. I can't even begin to imagine what the next election cycle is going to look like if this is where the present one's seeming to go. It'll probably be worthy of its own movie if this cycle's any indicator.

They wouldn't have a choice.
All I can do is hope Fat White Lump dies from embarrassment when Trump reveals that he was planted by the Clintons and comes out sayin "Haha all you fuckers who supported me are idiots" I can only hope
The republicans will probably begrudgingly support Trumps things if he makes it to the white house. They wouldn't have a choice.
I'm not so sure about that. They shut down the whole damn government because they didn't get what they wanted. I think their choice would be down to 'support a Trump presidency' or 'reject the Trump presidency, and all the voters he rode in with'. They're mad enough and baffled enough that I don't think it's inconceivable that they'd pick choice number two if they felt especially betrayed and indignant.

Very mature.
My Político app just has around 12 ''Hillary Clinton has won the...''
Sanders won Oklahoma
So uhh what's super tuesday anyways?
All I can do is hope Fat White Lump dies from embarrassment when Trump reveals that he was planted by the Clintons and comes out sayin "Haha all you fuckers who supported me are idiots" I can only hope
I've heard that theory before. I thought it possible, back then. Now, even if that was his original plan, I'm not sure Trump *could* back out. It would damage his brand too much, ruin his businesses for years to come because it would cement him in history as one of the most notorious liars of all time.
So uhh what's super tuesday anyways?
A day where a lot of states kick off their primary, Super Saturday is next
It'll be worthy of at least four years of really damn good South Park episodes, I can tell you that. :v:
I think Matt and Trey would just quit, because Trump is basically already a satirical character.
I think Matt and Trey would just quit, because Trump is basically already a satirical character.
Nah, they said that they would keep South Park going until they're told to stop.
I think Matt and Trey would just quit, because Trump is basically already a satirical character.
Mr Garrison would become president, with his vp Caitlyn Jenner.
well when he loses the general I think he means.
I wish I could share his optimism that Trump will lose the general election.
So what are we thinking? Has Sanders lost the race today?
Yeah, hoping people who disagree with you die is great. Very mature.
"Die from embarrassment" clearly a realistic way to die I was suggesting.
Just finished caucusing in Minnesota. Huge turnout, majority Bernie. Hoping we'll win by good margins in MN, CO should have decent margins as well. Hoping that the 3% reporting in TX aren't totally representative, and that the margins thin out a bit. Really hope Bernie can pull at least 40% of Texas - that would soften the blow a lot. Massachusetts was a disappointment. Still a fair chance for Hillary to be non-viable in Vermont. About as well as I was expecting. Better margins in Texas would be awesome, though.
Nah, they said that they would keep South Park going until they're told to stop.
Yeah, but they'd basically be redundant. Imagine the Simpsons in a world it's perfectly normal for lazy, uneducated idiots to be Nuclear Safety Inspectors at power plants who get fired every week.
