Hillary has like over thirty years of experience, and yet during that time she's supported the programs that have disproportionately jailed black Americans. (only when she's not being recorded or talking to an audience of voters, of course. Then she says whatever she needs to get elected)
Meanwhile, Bernie got arrested in 1963 for protesting segregation, at a time when it wasn't comfortable to maintain the status quo, like Hillary has done her entire life. When Hillary needs the black vote (a weird term but we'll go with it for now) she says that black lives matter, but out of that context she supported policies that were responsible, to some extent, for mass incarceration.
Same with her stance on gay marriage, her being a "moderate" etc etc.
Blacks do not fucking care that Sanders got arretested for civil rights in 1963. They are about what he's done for them, which is jack and shit. He is a non-presence among politically active blacks because he has never reached out to them until his nomination run. Meanwhile, the Clintons have been very close to the black community for at least two decades and are very involved in black events. They know blacks far, far better than Sanders ever will at this point.
Sanders also supported the same 1994 bill that he's been slamming Clinton on, which makes him a huge hypocrite. He claims he voted for it only for the Assault Weapons Ban, but he voted for it before that was added to the bill.
Stupid benevolent racist bullshit like "I know what's best for blacks!" (which you and the Canandian dude have posted) is one of the reasons why Sanders is not getting the black vote, BTW.

You're absolutely right. Thing is, you're not going to get that through peoples' heads. Because they're stupid, can't figure out what's really in their best interests, and are naive enough to fuck themselves over willingly without even knowing it.
And I'm completely fine with that. Like I've said before, we elect the politicians we deserve. If black voters want her, that's fine. It's a shame for Sanders, because historically, he's been the best friend they've ever had (and probably ever will have for that matter). But it's fine. They're just fucking themselves over in the end lol. It's nobody's fault but their own.

This talking down by Bernie's campaign and his supporters is exactly why Sanders will not be getting their vote.
But there's still a net +1 increase in the cost of living then. You said that consumer spending decreases when people have less money. If products cost more, then people have less money, or their money isn't worth as much.
so ok everything in x+1 speak
this is all 100% hyperbole btw but it illustrates the point
A guy making 0 dollars a month from being unemployed due to exported jobs obviously has less buying power than the guy making X+10 dollars a month working for a US manufacturing firm.
If the US manufacturing firm is selling for X+1, then the guy making X+10 from a US job is able to buy more things that cost X+1
Meanwhile, the guy making 0 a month from being unemployed can by exactly 0 of the items that cost X from China.
Multiply this by like 6-7 million manufacturing jobs you could bring back to the US

Ding ding ding. The stuff posted about Hillary, blacks, and Sanders in this thread is pretty damn racist because it talks down to blacks and assumes they're too ignorant and/or dumb to know what's REALLY best for them.
This talking down by Bernie's campaign and his supporters is exactly why Sanders will not be getting their vote.
My favorite is Bernie supporters saying they'll vote for Trump over Clinton.
Its like a load of his voters are in a contest to see who can get their head furthest up their own ass.

I'm going to vote for Trump if Sanders doesn't get the nomination because Hillary isn't a leader. I don't want 8 more years of lies
Just voted for hillary. Funny: the Virginia ballot still has Martin O'Malley on it

You know, it's kind of hard to believe sanders supporters saying that they're the true progressives when their solution to losing the nomination is to vote for a reactionary crypto-fascist just to spite America

It's not just for spite. I don't want to live in a country run by another lying politician. In my opinion Trump will be slightly more liberal than clinton will as president. Clinton should hurry up and get arrested to make room for the frontrunner

Well the counter to that is:
The 90-something% of people with jobs unrelated to manufacturing now have to pay more for consumer goods. They spend less money. Multiply this by 290-something million people
I'm going to vote for Trump if Sanders doesn't get the nomination because Hillary isn't a leader. I don't want 8 more years of lies
trump isn't exactly a bastion of truth
The sanders supporters saying "but he's so good for black people why don't those fucking stupid ass fuckheads vote for him!" are idiots - black voters are not solely single issue voters who only care about civil rights. many of them are conservative, many of them care about other issues more than who says they did more for black people. it's not one voter - it's a large large group of varying voters. like every other demographic is.
I fucking love sanders and I've been campaigning for him for a while now - but the people who say black people are "voting against their best interests" sound like cunts. they're saying "black people are too stupid to know who to vote for, here let me tell you to vote for this guy because your opinion must be wrong and you're basically a child i need to coddle." it's insulting and demeaning and it doesn't surprise me that many black voters are turned off of sanders because of that demeanor.

You don't want a liar for president, so you're going to vote for trump?

Same applies for female voters too. "You're just voting for Hillary because she's a woman!"
You don't want a liar for president, so you're going to vote for trump?
I don't want a liar so I'm going to vote for whoever can beat Clinton. Sanders is preferable but trump will do
This talking down by Bernie's campaign and his supporters is exactly why Sanders will not be getting their vote.
That's fine. Again, Clinton's not their friend, and she's not going to be doing anything to benefit them. And if they can't understand that, that's their own fault. I would prefer it, for their sake, if they saw this for themselves and realized how it would be much more advantageous for them to support Sanders over her, but in the end, I don't care. I'm not black, black issues with incarceration and institutional racism have never affected me and never will, and that's how simple it is.

I think the demographic of "white educated liberals" is sanders largest demographic, and those people are the exact kind of privilege that black voters don't want to vote into power. The "I know what's best for you" demographic. On reddit, I've seen the phrase "uneducated voters" used when talking about the race issue, which to me sounds like such a condescending way to say "black voters are stupid and don't know what's best for them"
I think the fact that Hilary won 84% of the black vote in South Carolina and 76% of black vote in Nevada would matter a wee bit more when it comes to gauging how blacks perceive Hillary than a video made by The Young Turks (which is as biased as Fox News is, but for the left), but I guess I'm just ignorant and need to more Salon articles and watch more TYT videos about how Hillary is the devil.
Well the counter to that is:

which you fix by dramatically increasing the minimum wage into a living wage, which, again, Sanders has plans for. This helps the lower end of the spectrum (who now ALSO have more income to spend on US companies thus increasing their productivity and worker pay)
And it's not like prices are going to triple or something like that.
Plus even if they did, they wouldn't be spending less money, they'd be spending the same amount of money (if not more if single payer is introduced, among other things), which would all be going into the US economy, not out of it

Jesus Christ, do you not realise how disgusting you sound now? "You just don't know what's good for you, you poor stupid black voters. If only you'd listen to us smarter people!"

What did Hillary actually do for the black voters? Genuinely interested cause I just don't know.

It's true though, I haven't heard one good reason to support Clinton that wasn't total bullshit
I think the demographic of "white educated liberals" is sanders largest demographic, and those people are the exact kind of privilege that black voters don't want to vote into power. I rmember reading something a while ago that blacks would prefer an open white racist to a white liberal. The reasoning is that open racists are easier to persuade to change their minds on blacks beause of how loud but superficial their views and blacks can have more open conversations with open racists because there's no walking on eggshells. White liberal are subtly racist (making it harder to change their opinions when this is pointed out) and constantly walk on eggshells when talking to a black person when it's not needed.
I'm not sure how true this is, but it does have some merit, IMO.
Please don't generalize all Sanders supporters because of what the more outspoken ones say.
We're not all like that. I don't plan to spite vote.
I will vote for Hillary if Bernie loses the nomination because not only does that seem infinitely better than getting Trump, but that's also what Bernie wants us to do.
Trump vs Clinton would be an absolutely horrendous situation, nobody wins.
You don't want a liar for president, so you're going to vote for trump?
I don't think there's such a thing as being a bigger liar than Hillary.
I'm not sure what a Trump presidency will bring, but I've seen way too many establishment presidents. Let's see it.
