Trump is my only alternative because I'm completely apathetic to establishment politics and I refuse to continue playing along with the bullshit. Hopefully sanders tho
It's the people that have already "realized" bernie won't be president that are delusional.
Trump may not be part of the political establishment, but he is undoubtedly part of the economic establishment. He was born into affluence, and most of his businesses are classic big-money corporate crap. He's a real estate trader, for fuck's sake! He may not be taking bribes from Koch et al, but he basically is them.
And yet, somehow, the idea that all his rhetoric and ranting is just a ploy to appeal to disgruntled voters, and he'll turn out to be just like Obama (who was just like Bush, who was just like Clinton, etc.), is better than the alternatives. If Trump goes through with his crazy plans, there's no chance he'll be re-elected - because there will not be an America after four years of that.
He flip-flops on every issue and somehow manages to take the worst stance on all of them:
He wants to help shelter Syrian refugees, and he wants to deport all Muslims
He wants to boost our trade with our neighbors, and he wants to build a literal wall between us and Mexico
He wants to reinstate the Assault Weapons Ban, and he wants to do absolutely nothing about gun control because it's a made-up problem by the liberal media
He wants to stick to small-government, laissez-faire ideals and he promises a government that will solve every problem America has by spending money on it.
He has advocated literal war crimes - he wants us to kill not just suspected terrorists, but wants to murder their families.
Also, despite all his talk about how he's financially independent and is taking money from no one, he has donated less to his own campaign than Hillary. Most of his funding is from donations, or from loans he has made to his campaign - loans that will be repaid out of the Republican war chest once he becomes their candidate. The only other candidate to use such loans was Ben Carson - who loaned $25,000, while Trump will be looting the Republicans for $17,500,000. Hillary, Bernie, Rubio, Cruz, none of them are using the loan mechanism for a single cent. Trump has actually cost the government almost as much as he's cost himself - US Secret Service costs for his protection have totaled almost as much as he's donated to his own campaign.
All of what I have just said is true, and verifiable. Citations will be provided upon request.
Right now, the only candidate I can vote *for* is Sanders - and I disagree with him on many points, but he has generally the right priorities, and is one of the few candidates focused on actually solving problems with practical, functional solutions. Everyone else would be choosing the lesser of two evils, and those evils are (from least to most evil, IMO):
Johnson (probable Libertarian candidate)
Hillary
Stein (probable Green candidate)
Kasich
Rubio
McAfee (highly improbable Libertarian candidate)
Carson
Cruz
Trump
Okay, you don't like "puppets", which if you and I are on the same page, you don't like big business buying out politics. So why vote Trump when the guy is literally big business? He is going to work for his interests and his business interests through and through, as opposed to someone like Hilary who is at least going to work towards some progressive ideals that her platform promises.
Seriously if you don't like puppets why vote in the puppet master? Do you even know why you hate the establishment?
I understand trump has his own interests and is basically his own corporation, but that makes him the hand controlling the puppet, not the puppet. I'd much rather have the corporation running the country than some asshole politician who says he works for the people but only works for some corporations.
that makes him the hand controlling the puppet, not the puppet..
what the fuck is the difference
Watching you Bernie people turn on each other is hilarious by the way.
what the fuck is the difference
Both have intentions, one tries to lie and cover them up, the other doesn't have to.
Both have intentions, one tries to lie and cover them up, the other doesn't have to.
Are you seriously this naive
The end result is the same - the corporate interests are played over the people's interests
I understand trump has his own interests and is basically his own corporation, but that makes him the hand controlling the puppet, not the puppet. Ahh yes, cut out the middleman. Instead of having a puppet looking out for corporate interests, just have corporate interests run us directly.
Are you seriously this naive

Trump has only his own interests to serve, Clinton has to answer to dozens of corporations
Watching you Bernie people turn on each other is hilarious by the way.
Only because they're talking about voting for your fuhrer.
Ahh yes, cut out the middleman. Instead of having a puppet looking out for corporate interests, just have corporate interests run us directly.
basically
You can.
But ultimately, it is up to the mods whether to take the deal for your time limit, permaban you for it, or just permaban you right now because they're mods and can do that.
[editline]1st March 2016[/editline]
Look up the thread for last year's Superbowl
Starpluck offered to take limited time bans based on what the user 'bet' for the winning team.
Most took a month, some did permabans while others took a week. IIRC a week was the shortest time though.
[editline]1st March 2016[/editline]
A toxx isn't governed by some international internet laws
It's enforced at the mod's discretion.
They can not ban anyone if they want.
This superbowl we had a guy eat a Carolina Reaper. The rule was he was permabanned until he posted proof if it being eaten which happened like a week or two later. Was lifted after he did it.
Both have intentions, one tries to lie and cover them up, the other doesn't have to.
Trump lies about everything. He consistently says things that are objectively false when he says them.
With Hillary/Kasich/Rubio/Obama/Bush/Clinton, if they say "I think it's going to rain soon", you can suspect they're lying. With Trump, if he says it rained yesterday, you can suspect he's lying.

what about the toxx rule? Can we specify a timeframe? is 4 years good?

And now that you're here we can just watch you embarrass yourself with every post you make. That way both sides can look bad.
In determining who I support right now, they matter. In determine who I'll support between Hillary and Trump, the way they compare to bernie isn't relevant. Only who is the lesser of 2 evils, of which is obviously trump
Trump's proposed highly irresponsible tax cuts (mainly for the rich, the Tax Foundation analysis says the top 1% of taxpayers would see a 21.6% increase in after-tax income while the average increase would be 10.2%) that are predicted to cost $10 trillion dollars over the next decade by dynamic analysis, meaning that accounts for predicted economic growth that may or may not happen. Trump would objectively be an absolute disaster if his policies made it through Congress. That's not even getting into his other reprehensible proposals, many of which are literally illegal. I don't know how you can vote for this colossal asshole as a Sanders supporter. Hillary is dishonest but she's sane.
EDIT: And his site says this
This plan does that with needed tax relief for all Americans, especially the working poor and middle class
He's as much of a liar as Hillary
what about the toxx rule? Can we specify a timeframe? is 4 years good?
I doubt anyone would remember in 4 years.
Typically though its like "if x happens i'll do y" in which case if Y can't be immediately done you're banned until it's completed and it's lifted after. Again for the super bowl I gave someone a week long grace period because the punishment required users to make/come up with an embarassing avatar and that was out of the users immediate control. (though he chose one pretty fast so that wasn't an issue)
In your case, just saying "Ban me for x time" is kinda boring.
Third parties don't win in america, I won't waste my vote on bernie if he's not the nomination because I know enough people won't. Trump however has enough morons supporting him to succeed
People don't vote for third parties because third parties don't win because people don't vote for third parties because third parties don't win because people don't vote for third parties because third parties don't win.
No thanks, I don't wish to subscribe to such a toxic, circular rhetoric.
but you know

also no other candidate has a real chance besides trump, clinton, and sanders
basically
That you could think this is anything other than an abysmal idea is disturbing.

Teddy Roosevelt lost on a third party. He got second.
If TEDDY ROOSEVELT lost then what hope does anyone have?
That you could think this is anything other than an abysmal idea is disturbing.
Abysmal? maybe, but I can't morally bring myself to vote for clinton
Wow I expected trump to do well but he is doing better in some of the states I thought he would slip much further on
i think we're being trolled tbh
Abysmal? maybe, but I can't morally bring myself to vote for clinton
I don't think you know what the world moral means at this point

Wow, someone has money? HE'S EVIL!!! HE'S A RACIST!!! Get a real argument
So apparently you think Trump is just like our last two presidents. But he won't get 8 years. I don't know if you know this but Bush and Obama both got 8 years.
He flip-flops on nothing.
He wants safe zones set up for Syrians in SYRIA. He doesn't want them here. He doesn't want to deport all muslims, he wants a temporary ban on letting them in. Do some basic research.
The wall will have a big beautiful door you can go in and out of LEGALLY. It can also be used for TRADE.
Gun control is made up, we need to focus on mental health issues.
He spent his whole life spending money to solve problems, it worked. He's worth $10 billion.
You're making up that family bullshit, he said this “I would be very, very firm with families,” “Frankly, that will make people think, because they may not care much about their lives, but they do care, believe it or not, about their families’ lives.” If you actually saw some of the shit ISIS does to innocent US citizens you could see why he wants to be firm with them. You look at the attack in California, France, Germany. These people are monsters.
Using his donations is a bad thing? What is he supposed to do with the money from donations?
Nothing you said is true, you're a bigger liar than Hilary Clinton.
Abysmal? maybe, but I can't morally bring myself to vote for clinton
Oh please. You're probably going to vote for Donald Trump you don't give a shit about morals.

What's embarrassing for me? My candidate is crushing everyone.
Holy Shit fox is calling Donald winning VA, I did not see that coming. I mean I had my hopes but wow
i think we're being trolled tbh
We can only hope.
