Why are people even discussing revolution in Western democracies? The entire reason behind the current revolts is because the people had no other way of changing the country. Democracy allows you to make changes without violence. Revolution is a last resort. Why would there be a revolution in the U.S.?

It was probably either internal influence and it's completely unrelated to revolution in North Africa or somebody managed to hear about the protests via radio and decided to organize their own.
I bet the Tunisian guy who set himself on fire and kick-started all of these revolts would be fucking pleased with himself.
