yay i live in the UK

More like Michael J Fox trying to regain control of a stalled plane
If you know how to use a condom, and you have an actual caring relationship, then I don't see why teenagers can't have sex.
Plus, moderately related fact, drinking a cup of semen a day reduces the risk of contracting breast cancer.
They're not saying go out and have kids.
No they're not, correct. But incouraging fucking increases the risk of accidental pregnancy. All teens fuck anyway, why the hell do you need a campaign to tell everyone sex is good? Its common sense. Masturbation can lead to baldness apparently according to some sources, so lol if the next few generations have higher percentage of baldness.
All I think is the scheme is damn pointless. You could look into better things rather than tell teenagers to have sex and wank.
I live in Sheffield. We have enough teenage mothers thankyou. What a fucking stupid campaign.
Masturbation can lead to baldness apparently according to some sources.
I don't think so... isn't that like the whole "masturbating gives you hairy palms" thing?
Plus, wouldn't that mean having sex would lead to baldness? Masturbation is the same thing, just with the absence of a penis/vagina.
Maybe they think that encouraging people to have sex for pleasure will make them not have sex for babies as much. I really don't see how this can be the cause of something that is already happening. That is like saying that the Government lowering VAT to 15% caused the banking crisis.
You really think unmarried teenagers are primarily fucking for babies?
I live in Sheffield. We have enough teenage mothers thankyou. What a fucking stupid campaign.
Tell them to use two condoms. Teenage mothers are the result of stupid males or females.

Its something to do with testosteron levels or something, I have never looked into it. But it was a joke.

Oh, it was? Not a very believable one. Heh.
It's not illegal to have sex under 16...

I thought they found out that semen was carcinogenic?
It's not illegal to have sex under 16...
Yes, it is (in the UK).
EDIT: Evidence: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/special_report/1999/02/99/e-cyclopedia/437789.stm
So what would be the case if two 15-year-olds were having sex? Again, going by the letter of the law, it is illegal for them to do so.
It is never enforced though, but the government isn't going to go about encouraging people to go against the law, whether they actually care if they do or not.
Well they're right, orgasms are good for your heart. Anyone who has masturbated before knows that your blood really starts pumping right before the climax.
I thought they found out that semen was carcinogenic?
99.99% sure that it's the opposite. Searching CBS news archives now.
99.99% sure that it's the opposite. Searching CBS news archives now.
Whatever, just thought I'd read it somewhere.
I thought they found out that semen was carcinogenic?
There was a study that came out that said regularly (a few times a week) emptying the prostate of "old" semen lowered the risk of prostate cancer.
And they wonder why we have the highest teenage pregnancy in Europe. I wouldn't really care otherwise but we have this thing called a benifit system, and I don't like giving my hard earned money to children who cannot even look after themselves, let alone another child.
No, America has the highest rates of teen pregnancy because of fundies like you don't want to teach sex ed in schools.
This is a graph of the teen pregnancy rate in 4 different places:

Here's the teen abortion rate in all of these places:

Did you notice how the US has a really high abortion rate? If we fixed teen pregnancies, pro-lifers like you would be happy that there would be fewer abortions.
Back to the teen birth rate, however.

Notice how all the dark red states are in the Bible Belt?
That's because there isn't sex ed there.
If teens want to fuck, they'll fuck. That's been shown. It's also been shown that rate of teen sex don't differ between teens that have learned full sex ed, including safe sex, and teens that have had abstinence-only sex ed. The one statistic that does significantly differ, however, is the birth rate. Teens who have had abstinence-only sex ed have much higher rates of teen pregnancy because they haven't been taught about birth control. Even Bristol Palin said that teens should be taught about birth control to avoid having children.
Tell them to use two condoms. Teenage mothers are the result of stupid males or females.
So you want more teenage mothers?
I live in Sheffield. We have enough teenage mothers thankyou. What a fucking stupid campaign.
i haven't seen many to be honest. plus sheffield has a very strong sexual health campaign at least at university age, which is nice. i don't have chlamydia and got a £5 boots voucher for not having it.
and it's not really a stupid campaign, it's just saying there's nothing wrong with sex and it's reasonable exercise.
Tell them to use two condoms. Teenage mothers are the result of stupid males or females.
yeah that'll definitely help it's not as if using two condoms at once makes it much more likely that there will be a breakage
[editline]08:25PM[/editline]
and i hate it when people use pro-life and pro-choice. you're either pro-abortion or anti-abortion. both have negative connotations. fucking deal with it.
yeah that'll definitely help it's not as if using two condoms at once makes it much more likely that there will be a breakage
Provide statistics.
If they use lube, there shouldn't be a high risk of breakage. Even if one breaks, there's a backup.
So you want more teenage mothers?
Yes. I do.
Edit: the one on the bottom needs to be lubed.

Read what I said.
In Europe
Europe
The main reason I am highly against teenage couples having kids is because I know 5 of them, my brother too. They end up having a kid and like all teenage couples they break up, so now we have this child living in a broken family, law battles go on, the familys cannot support themsleves very well, benifit wreaking starts.
As I said, nothing wrong with fucking, the campaign is pointless. Teenagers do not give a fuck about whether some old toss pot thinks its wrong for them to have sex or not, I don't think I have ever met someone who feels ashamed about having sex, my problem is alot of teenagers are thick about these situations and 'risk it' by not using a damn johnny or forgetting to take a pill. I swear we were taught in sex eduation in school all about sex, how it was good for you etc.
And they wonder why we have the highest teenage pregnancy in Europe.
We don't?
Europeans are completely different sexually than Americans. Americans are pretty much prudes when it comes to sex, while us Europeans show pornography after 21:00.

Look at my post above. The Dutch have low teen sex rates and pregnancy rates.

Ever been to Holland? They have whores dancing around in shop windows, funny stuff.
Prism, next time try to show a chart that also includes the country we're talking about (i.e. the United Kingdom) as the news article is about the UK, not Germany or France or the Netherlands and why the hell is Oregon on there?
Also why am I apparently a pro life? I am all for abortions... Why the hell would I want more teenage mothers?
