The Sun. Heh. I remember shag bands from when I were a kid in primary school. It's no new thing. I also remember kids plain-out bullshitting that they'd had full-on sex with girls older than them, when in reality the bands had broken when they'd really been playing football ;p
This is so old. Like 3rd grade old.
Huh. I've seen a bunch of those around my school. And that weird thing where they take the band and twist it around their fingers.
That was totally relabint to my post. Also, LOL U STOLE JEWEL'S AVATAR
It's not stolen. :smug:
Wow, this has been going around in my Junior High and High School and I''m currently a Senior.. Talk about Epicly Late!
To the people rating disagree: Are you rating it "no, it's not just you"? Or "You are a sick pervert"?
Why does it matter to you? I almost rated disagree because I was thinking more like 8- 10. :q:
Oh boy im gonna buy thousands of this bands and cover my whole body in them.
"I'd like to snap her band." Hmm, doesn't sound too bad, actually. I can see why the kids get into it nowadays.
Wasn't this on an episode of George Lopez once? Oh wait, I was ninja'd. Maybe I can find the episode on Youtube real fast to avoid the clocks about to be thrown at me
Sheesh, what the fuck is the world coming too. Back when i was a kid we had kiss chase, you never really said you wanted to play it it just happened, but sex chase? Thats a whole new level.
when i was in year 8 they were the craze. a girl broke my black shag band... i didnt get shagged:(
The whole rainbow parties thing never actually went on in as great a manner as first assumed, so why should it be any different this time?
IRL goldmembers get everything :smug:
when i was in year 8 they were the craze. a girl broke my black shag band... i didnt get shagged:(
That's because Shag Bands are a load of Bollocks.
I wanna say this is really old because I remember reading this or something similar to it ages ago
Am I the only one that's jealous?
Shit man! I have hundreds of these bracelets in my drawer from when I was at school, I missed out on so many blowjobs...
How is this at all a new trend? In a way shows how hard it is to keep up with youth culture
This was at my high school back around 2003-2004. :v:

I had these in school, and yeah same rule applies, you break one near someone you kiss them, I broke one in front of my male french teacher :(, everyone laughed

Yeah, I had these in elementary school, and remember hearing about what they meant but to be honest most of us were too young to fully grasp all of it. The hysteria seems a bit unnecessary.
I'm guessing this was a UK thing? I've never heard about this before.
Honestly, they don't seem to be so big in the United States. Seems England does all the weird, stupid grade school shit that gets media attention.
Everyone wore them in primary school [editline]10:59PM[/editline] We didn't have sex then [editline]10:59PM[/editline] We just joked about it [editline]10:59PM[/editline] "If they're wearing the Live Aid one, you have to have sex without a condom"
Everyone wore these when I was in grade school and yes, the different colors had the different meanings associated with them, but even then no one would break anyone else's bracelet, and if one did get broken, no one did shit.
I went to a Catholic primary school and even though 99% of the people that went there weren't Catholic, we all came out as generally good people. All the public primary schools just tend to create little shitheads.
No, the idea of that is just wrong, and anyone that thinks its cool to lose your virginity under the age of consent is a Whore in my opinion.
I guess we know who's not getting any
Wow, this is old as hell. "Sex bracelets" have been around for three years now, at least, in the US.
