I've been on Doxycyline Hyclate pills for a few months now. I can't remember the last time I got a breakout. I hear it all comes back when you stop but I mean after you turn 18 it generally starts to (in most cases, mine included) appear less and less so long as you stay hygienic. It doesn't matter what I do. I eat healthy, I clean my face on a daily basis. But I still get cystic acne. Not only does it look hideous, but it hurts to sleep. It hurts to shave, to touch. My type of acne is genetic, and it happens because I have really sensitive pores. I don't even know if this could work for my type of acne. Either way, It is a big deal for me.

Personally I don't really get acne all that much anymore; back when I was a pubescent teenager, in the process of essentially mutating from child to adult, I probably had a couple of spots, but since I was raised pretty much on well-rounded healthy meals, I didn't have too much oil or toxicity in my system, and thus my face is more or less clear. In regards to this "harmless virus", however, we can only hope it doesn't mutate; best to expose this "acne-killer" to varying amounts of radiation, see what happens. Best case scenario it just kills the virus, worst case it becomes hungry for skin; exposure research seems a win-win situation from where i'm sitting.

I honestly thing some people just get shit genetics and end up producing oil and shit much more than everybody else. Puberty is different for everybody.

I get the worst kinds of acne and almost always get nodules which are a few layers under the skin. They hurt very much, swell quite a lot, and get incredibly sensitive. You can't pop them either unless you're willing to break a few layers of skin. I always get it on my back and chest too and it fucking sucks. Adapalene and clindamycin in addition to prescription anti biotic pills have done absolutely nothing for me and at the very best all i can do is make the situation LESS worse by more through cleaning as, once again, these go deep under the skin effectively making exfoliating ineffective. Literally all you need to do is make a paste/clay of 2 parts baking soda and 1 part water then smearing it on your face.

I have some pretty bad acne. Most of the stuff my doctor gives doesn't work that well. Acne is annoying not just because its unattractive but because its irritating and can cause bleeding.

I've actually been using that castle soap stuff for almost my whole life. The mint one feelsgoodman. I didn't know anything about any acne stopping abilities. But I've never had acne and I'm 17. It's not that expensive and its really strong. You're supposed to dilute it with water. So you're buying a lot more soap than it looks like you are. Oh and did I mention you could brush your teeth with it?

That Dr Bronners magic soap sounds idiotic and like some quack treatment.
