Where are you getting sources on this?
Skeeve's located at a school in Downtown Ottawa at the moment. He is our main source on this right now.
Skeeve, run outside and get us better news on this. Watch out for bullets though. They hurt. Or tasers. Or people tackling you because apparent;y it's dumb to wander around during a lockdown.
They've just comfirmed one dead shooter, but there could be another one. http://www.cbc.ca/player/News/ID/2396780283/
Couple of my friends are locked down at my university :/

CNN is reporting new shots fired, plus possible gunmen on the roof of Parliament.
Why Canada? I mean yes, they participate in the war on terrorism, but come on.. Why not Germany or France or S. Peter square?

Globe and Mail just posted this video.
Swat teams just entered parliament through the front, ran fast inside

In a way I blame Harper's constant cocksucking for dragging us into this bullshit.
Everything around my school is in lockdown, except for my school. Not surprising, a nuke could go off downtown and they still wouldn't really care about their students.
Globe and Mail just posted this video.
Gonna go ahead and presume you mean this video
My brother is in lockdown on campus, I was set to leave for there in 30 minutes or so. Jesus, this is nerve-wracking.
BBC live page: http://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-us-canada-29728503 Lots of rumours going around but not much concrete yet apart from one soldier injured and one gunmen dead.
And you know this is related to IS how?
I sure hope it isn't. It'll be weird because I know if it isn't IS related it will just blow over but if it is IS related oh boy will it be a shit storm. Even though its the same crime in both cases. Just gonna be a added heap of retarded unnecessary hysteria.
Ottawa Police confirming three shootings, the assailant in Parliament, the shooting at the War Memorial and a third shooting at the Rideau Centre. Possibly 1-2 still on the loose. For those not from Ottawa, this is a really small area. 1-2 kms at most. And uOttawa is located right beside the Rideau Centre.

This is starting to look eerily similar to 26/11 to me.

Atleast three different locations so atleast three shooters. Could be as many as 5 shooters according to twitter: https://twitter.com/Live885fm/status/524947661393117185
Im currently in a school in hull and right now their doing a lockin here as we speak, guy in my class says his brother in law was in parliament when it happened. Rumor has it there was more than one and their on the run still
CTV saying the soldier shot at the War Memorial is not dead, enroute to hospital now.
My brother works for the NDP as a researcher and he can confirm that all NDP staff members are safe. He just called me at work 30 minutes ago to tell me about the event and assure me he was fine. The cell network kept going down though.
Any word on casualties? Like beyond the one soldier I haven't heard anything. Assuming multiple shooters and multiple locations (2+ of each) I'd have assumed significantly more?

God damnit, my sister lives downtown and she's freaking out. Someone ran up to her house and was knocking on her doors and windows. Also I was supposed to leave for school in the next few hours, definitely not going anymore.
This is crazy, I just found out about this from a friend. Any Canadians should be able to get onto this CBC livestream. EDIT: Whoops, didn't see that the livestream was posted earlier...
This guy reportedly shot the assailant. Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers
Pretty fucking badass. Also every Canadian Forces base nation-wide on lockdown. MP's are doing access control.
Why Canada? I mean yes, they participate in the war on terrorism, but come on.. Why not Germany or France or S. Peter square?
Attack the "peaceful" country, it's more surprising and shocking.
