How about lets not put any fame into the fucking scumbags who shot our troops, and lets just recognize the people who we lost. Put a bullet in the shooters heads, and burn their corpses to ashes.
Shit. My grandfather's in Ottawa along with some cousins. Grandpa's a little bit away from the parliament buildings though, but I'm not sure about my cousins.
Great, power's out to parts of the city.
Any reason why? I'm unable to keep up with the articles due to class
Any reason why? I'm unable to keep up with the articles due to class
No clue, most likely just random lol. About 30,000 people affected though
No clue, most likely just random lol. About 30,000 people affected though
Well jeez, hope it gets fixed
How about lets not put any fame into the fucking scumbags who shot our troops, and lets just recognize the people who we lost. Put a bullet in the shooters heads, and burn their corpses to ashes.
alright calm down bud
No clue, most likely just random lol. About 30,000 people affected though
It's probably intentional - maybe to disrupt the shooter or hinder his escape. IIRC the same thing happened in Boston. It's highly unlikely to be a random occurrence. EDIT: To disrupt power to an area you would have to damage a substation which given the lockdown seems unlikely. So it's likely a deliberate move by the authorities.
alright calm down bud
I've no remorse for scumbags like these shooters. I wish the worst upon them. I don't care if I sound edgy or anything, in all honesty, they should bathe in acid.
Any country that is in bed with the states is technically at risk of being attacked and like so, any country against America's views is deemed an enemy so we have to follow along or we all get fucked by the neighbor. In a way I blame Harper's constant cocksucking for dragging us into this bullshit.
Or you could not be a fucking mental cripple and you could blame the asshole who just shot innocent people in Ottawa.

That's got to be a very surreal feeling- creeping up the corridors and hallways of your own parliament building and knowing that by the end of the day there will probably be bullet holes in the walls.
I really hope this isn't related to what happened in Quebec or related to IS, as that could indicate these people are targeting soldiers.
Mate, they probably are, don't forget the whole Lee Rigby killing.
It wouldn't surprise me that the guy was linked to ISIS somehow [editline]22nd October 2014[/editline]
Did he say he's sorry before he got shot?
I'd say a joke about Poland but I'm not an asshole
It wouldn't surprise me that the guy was linked to ISIS somehow
Considering that unlike al-Qaeda you can just be part of ISIS by agreeing with their idiology it's not exactly that difficult to be "affiliated" with them.
they are probably lassoing him (them?) and just closing in.
Update at my college, they're having a power outage as well and decided to cancel everything for the rest of the day.
I'm back, lost power for an hour or so.
they are probably lassoing him (them?) and just closing in.
They're setting a perimeter and then going to search for him within it
no one does this shit to Canada and gets away unpunished no one
CBC is citing this tweet right now: https://twitter.com/kenneyjason/status/524963481565790208
Journalism is dead if we're citing twitter as a source.
Journalism is dead if we're citing twitter as a source.
Journalists use Twitter to post initial reports, they did that on telegram all the time in the past. No real difference.
Authorities really wavering in the press conference as to whether there are other suspects at large or not.
Looks like I am probably wrong, strange coincidence though: https://twitter.com/hydroottawa/status/524992269834002432
Did he say he's sorry before he got shot?
Are you fucking kidding me right now. Fuck off
Been following the news all day, just saw a media briefing confirming the soldier has died. No one else seems to be in life-threatening condition so far. I live about 2-3 minutes car ride away from Parliament, and my wife pretty much works across the street from it. She stayed home today and damn are we both glad she did: downtown Ottawa is locked right the fuck down and afaik all routes out of Ottawa are being guarded. Even the ferry on the east end that goes into Gatineau has Quebec provincial police checking every single car coming through. Considering I'm a local I'll do my best to keep you guys updated.
Pretty fucking badass.
A CBC anchor just described him as "A pretty big, tough, guy"
This can't be coincidence that a couple days ago some radical Muslim ran down two soldiers in Quebec and now this happens. I really hope these attacks aren't related
To be fair it could have been two suicide bombs instead. Not good it happened, but it could have been worse.
Did he say he's sorry before he got shot?
get seriously bent, not a good time. I do hope these guys are hunted down and shown how strong we can be if tipped the wrong way.
get seriously bent,
Is that some sort of Canadian insult or what? Pffft
Is that some sort of Canadian insult or what? Pffft
No it's Canadian honesty, get fucked.
