I bet Google feels left out.

considering all the cool stuff around the office i don't think they give a shit, they probably have cake dispensers.

It looks like those extremely hard and brittle candy things that they shove ontop of cakes because they can't be bothered to make it out of icing. So they had to take it off the cake because nobody would eat it unlike the decorative icing ontop of the IE cakes.
See, you can eat this thing whole unlike the Firefox cake:

It's fondant, a very rich and thick cake decoration material. It's delicious but it'll give you a tummy ache if you eat too much!
At least the IE team didn't send Firefox any cookies :v:

Too bad the firefox cake crashes every half hour.
I'm trying to make a browser joke but all these cakes gave me diabetes
Internet Explorer is no longer the completely dominant browser it used to be, but that hasn't stopped its team from continuing its cake-giving tradition with the makers of Firefox. According to Mozilla employee Matt Brubeck, the IE team began it all when it sent over a cake to congratulate the company on the launch of Firefox 2 in 2006. Since then, the Internet Explorer crew has continued to send over cakes for each new version, though they smartly switched over to less-costly cupcakes when Mozilla began its accelerated 6-week upgrade cycles. To return the favor, Matt hand delivered a massive cake to celebrate the launch of Internet Explorer 10 this week to the Microsoft team's headquarters in Redmond, and signed it "Love Mozilla." Who said competition precludes a bit of playfulness between rivals?
My cake occasionally stutters when playing streaming videos.

My cake's a botnet :(
Still disappointing how it lacks spell check and "open image in new tab/copy image url" in the right click menu, two very basic features
But other than that, it stands perfectly well.
I would switch in a heartbeat if it did that and have some sort of IE sync possibly through skydrive or something

iirc ie10 metro has spellcheck

Well, Skyrive can be downloaded and work like Dropbox, p much.
God damn it, now I'm hungry for cake.
Too bad its like 2am.
My cake has adblock!

The firefox cake has pastry cream leaks
For a moment, I thought the cake would have a firefox humping the IE logo. I was dissapointed. Still a cool gesture.

That is "A Matter of Loaf and Death", its quite recent (last few years). Its extremely funny.
They probably gave them a cake so the IE team doesnt have to be sad because their browser sucks and nobody downloads it.

Just go watch the cooking networks cake shows and see the visual miracles that fondant and cakes can cause.
I wonder if Apple will force google to send one for the next iOS iteration

We need JBMod to send Facepunch a cake with Kleiner humping Alyx to congratulate Garry on GMod 13. :v:
I shortly tried out IE 10 for Win 8 and it's actually quite good, shame that IE has such a bad rep.
I'm just way too used with chrome though.
Mozilla probably switched to incremental updates to squeeze the most cake out of the IE team.
Tell me why I'm wrong Laserguided, rather than just trying personal attacks on my message board. My girlfriend is a pastry chef. She literally makes fondant shit like this constantly.
I think it's pretty cool how in the computer industry (with the exception of Apple), despite how heavy competition might be, they're still friendly to each other. Examples being this, and maybe AMD/Intel. I also hear a good amount of stuff about Microsoft related to Linux.
I hear Apple and Google are total bros despite, you know, smartphones.
Why doesn't anyone send cake to Google?
I think the Firefox cake looks prettier, but the IE cake would taste better (I don't like fondant).
My cake has no marketshare :(
the IE team won't let me in on this cake
