I'm still waiting for that Cowboy Bebop movie, Keanu. I don't care how bad live action adaptations of anime are, I want to see you as Spiegel.
I want them to remake Constantine, that movie was the shit and had some amazing concepts but it was done poorly.
Bill and Teds Excellent Reunion do it fucker
This is Hollywood we're talking about. Original ideas were outlawed some time ago; only sequels and remakes are allowed there now.
except there's been plenty of original films even in the past few years that were good In Bruges, Drive, and Looper among them [editline]25th December 2013[/editline] i hate crap remakes and cash in sequels as much as the next guy but to cynically dismiss the whole mainstream film industry is ludicrous [editline]25th December 2013[/editline] unless you meant hollywood as a coverall term for effortless garbage
Didn't looper have a bunch of plotholes in it
Didn't looper have a bunch of plotholes in it
comes with the territory of being a time travel film. it did very well in acknowledging that there was basically no way to explain the time loops or whatever and have it all make sense. it was self aware in that respect.

the technicalities of the time loop shit wasn't the point anyway, and it was a smart move to remind the audience of that [editline]25th December 2013[/editline] even though obviously a few people are still hung up on it

I really want Keanu to make that Cowboy Bebop movie.
I'm p sure even he thinks that movie was a piece of shit
I liked it... a lot... :(
He's aged well, He looks good for 50 years old.
Wait, am I trippin/mathing wrong or was he like 35 when he was in the Matrix? holy shit
Keanu Reeves is a good actor regardless
Ehhhhh, yeah. Let's just say he wasn't exactly responsible for the most stellar acting in his movies. I mean there's wooden actors and there's keanu reeves.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0970416/
That movie took such a shit on the original. And the original wasn't even that spectacular.
I agree. Why does Hollywood insist on remaking films that are great? Remake films that were shitty, but could have been great. Chrisordie said it best:
By making an expensive film that's cheap on the ideas of the original and bank on the nostalgia of those who saw it the first time around.

Ehhhhh, yeah. Let's just say he wasn't exactly responsible for the most stellar acting in his movies. I mean there's wooden actors and there's keanu reeves.
He's like Schwarzenegger, he can't really act, but his personality and attitude lend themselves to certain roles, to the point where it's actually good.
He looks like the villain from Casino Royale. Please let Keanu be a Bond villain.
Mads Mikkelsen? [t]http://adventureamigos.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/936full-mads-mikkelsen.jpg[/t]
And then he lost the weight.

Clear demonstration that he was given the wrong role in Coppola's Dracula. He was meant to be the immortal count all along. :v:
some actors should never act

Forget about Keanu for a second. That guy who has the full zombie tattoo is getting parts in movies now? Last time I saw him he was in a Lady Gaga video. Well good for him I guess.

Well good for him I guess.
First time I saw him he had just skull's eye and nose holes tattoo on his face and a giant devil goat head on his chest (iirc 2008). He was on BME.com -a tattoo and piercing community- and people were giving him a lot of shit, like- 'you look awful man' 'terrible idea dude' and he was a laughing stock in general. To think of him now. heh.
110% Correct. Exhibit A
Holy fuck if someone ever tries to do a remake of apocalypse now i would go absolutely crazy in attempts to stop them.
I think the only way a remake of an undisputed masterpiece would be acceptable is if it didn't share the same name, didn't tout that it was a remake of said masterpiece and only shared the story. There are exceptions to this (The Thing, The Fly, Invasion of the Body Snatchers) but none of the originals could really be described as "masterpieces". I'd argue that something more along the lines of 2001: A Space Odyssey should be regarded as untouchable rather than Apocalypse Now. The story of Apocalypse Now is robust enough that it could be creatively told in many different ways. A film like Outland, though a bit mediocre, is a good example of this as it is a well made remake of the critically acclaimed and influential High Noon and didn't share the same setting, name, or try to ride on the fame of the original.

Dermablend had a really good campaign with him.
