The only problem I had with this is that.. well, not everyone's bi. Why should the characters be? In Mass Effect 2, they felt so real, and they don't do that for me in this.
Why do people care so much about relationships in videogames? As immerse they are, they are depressing. You're putting love into something that will never be able to physically love back. I understand that they're a great step in game immersion, but I feel like developers are doing it for the wrong reasons. It's completely obvious that they were trying to cater to everyone, which is something will disrupt any sort of artistic creativity that you're putting into you're work. When developers do this, they lose who they were, and need to start over.

What the fuck is with the hate for this game? Sure- it felt rushed- it's not as good as the first game- but it's a damn good game. Some of you are acting like spoilt brats- I see idiots on Metacritic giving it 0's. A 0 is for a broken game. I wouldn't even give ET a 0. This game is fine by my watch, the only thing that bugs me is the repeated dungeons, boring side quests and linear path- ALL of which were in the first game anyway. [editline]27th March 2011[/editline] And I think everybody being bisexual is fine. But in Dragon Age 2- they're not. Sebastian is straight. It was my understanding bisexuality was more common with the DA universe- interspecies was less so. [editline]27th March 2011[/editline] [QUOTE=Generic.Monk;28798074]I couldn't give less of a shit about the characters' sexuality. The real problem is how badly some of them (especially merril) are written. The majority aren't multifaceted, flawed, or even interesting and it pisses me the fuck off.[/QUOTE] I thought they were written fine. Merrill being my favourite, mainly as she's voiced by one of my long term celebrity crushes.
merril was fucking retarded, also torchwood fucking sucked
