Quickest ever... Even Japan said Fuck You and No for 2 weeks in the face of the Atomic Bombs ..
That went alot cleaner than I thought it would've.
fuck the ceasefire, blow him the fuck up.
I wonder how long it will be before we find out about the thousands of "accidental" civilian deaths.
Didn't know Navy pilots used Starboard and Port since that would get confusing on the deck of an aircraft carrier
how would it get confusing? its quite obvious which side is port and which side is starboard.
So we have NATO, the middle east and the UN on the same side, kicking ass.
Today is a good day.
NATO is not involved as NATO it seems, both Turkey and Germany oppose action. It seems it will be a UN backed UK/French/US led collation.

Hold up, this is Gaddafi we are talking about. He could be bombing the shit out of Benghazi by tonight.

Unfortunately that will probably be correct. Luckily it seems people are moving into position to enforce the NFZ.
BBC says the ceasefire is "highly unlikely to halt the military planning which is going on." I imagine that if they don't very clearly show that the attacks have been stopped everywhere completely, the Anglo-French offensive will still go ahead.
1744: Malta, which lies in the Mediterranean not far from Libya's coast, says it will not allow UN forces to use its bases to enforce a no-fly zone. The country is politically neutral by constitution, reports AFP.
Bit of a surprise, I was expecting them to allow it. Although its not that much of an issue, Crete is closer AFAIK and has a UK base on it so they can't say no.
Also "Anglo-French offensive". Not something I thought I would ever hear.
Someone needs to edit the Team America theme tune, but with France/UK instead of America (lol)

Response to Lybia

Libyan troops now 100km closer to Benghazi than they were at the time of the ceasefire.
Also,, I can't really source this, but according to "We are all Khaled Al Said" on Facebook, the English version of the April 16th group that organized the Egyptian revolution, a large massacre including women and children has occurred in Ajdabya, which was recently retaken by the gov. I've also read that regardless of the ceasefire, there's still violence and ongoing military skirmishes.
That ceasefire didn't last. I wonder if they'll have the balls to fire on Coalition aircraft. They're only calling even more serious shit down on themselves if they do.

It didn't even start by the looks of it.
In theory if they fire upon any NATO aircraft that is enforcing the NFZ it could cause article 5 of the NATO treaty to come into effect, which counts an attack against one NATO member as an act of aggression against the entire of NATO.

NATO vs Libya would not be WWIII. Even if Venezuela, one of Libya's few allies were to step in, it still wouldn't be WWIII, and Gaddafi would still get fucked.
