Yes, there have been 2 or 3 incidents that could've been handled much better if you look back at it. For instance: Srebrenica back in Yugoslavia where the Dutch soldiers didn't get air support when they asked for it, meanwhile hundreds of enemy troops were heading for the small Dutch posts. I think none of you would've shot back. Yeah, returning fire might have turned them around but most of you wouldn't even think about that if you were standing in their shoes. This and more incidents give the Dutch soldiers a bad name, mostly because of ignorance and bad media coverage. There are a lot of brave Dutch soldiers out there.

My comment was in regards to the actual coalition troops in A-stan who disliked the Dutch for various reasons. Examples: Combined US SF and Australian SAS patrol is ambushed by 100+ taliban fighters firing heavy weapons. Australians request that the two dutch Apaches in the area support, the Apaches refuse, despite being able to engage and destroy from complete safety. Numerous incidents from US soldiers and Australian Soldiers of Dutch soldiers firing mortars and artillery completely unobserved. stuff like that.
