Gaddafi really likes to play with fire.
These negotiations should be conducted with Qaddafi in person, locked in a jail cell, awaiting execution, by means of firing Squad, or hanging. I suggest that we bomb Tripoli until it is wiped off the face of the earth, or he surrenders.
They are holding the 3 dutch soldiers for espionage now.
Which means the embassy now has the right to provide legal assistance, at least.

See if he can break the world record for a prison sentence.
just execute one and free the other two, that way everyone wins

They used a old helicopter (from 1978), if they have used a more modern one, they could have detected the libyan forces and could avoid it. Basicly they rushed instead of taking a helicopter with better equipment.
I mean it terms of military fuck ups, not like accidental civilian killings. In Afghanistan the Dutch were pretty universally disliked by most of the coalition forces [editline]4th March 2011[/editline] That said every country in that fucking war has a shitfinger story about another country's fuckups.
Yeah I think the biggest complaint about the dutch was their brutally retarded ROE's, like in that story the special forces guy released where he and his men were under attack by masses of taliban and the dutch choppers moved in to help and then refused to fire for ages and the guy just told them to fuck off and clear the air space for someone else who would actually help them.

NATO shouldnt have to negotiate with dipshits.
If they were going to send in a helicopter that they could hear for miles away, they could have at least put some armed soldiers on it in the event something like this happened.
Gaddafi really likes to play with fire.
And when you play with fire, you get burned.
And in most countries its punishable by death/execution. :ohdear: Bit bullshit that you use a 30 year old helicopter that isn't really that stealthy (hint IT IS FUCKING LOUD).
That THING sounds like a fucking buzzsaw!
That THING sounds like a fucking buzzsaw!
They fly over the coast here at least once a month, I can here the fucker fly over every single time. (I live 800 meters from the beach so yeah.) :v:
Why the hell is that helicopter so loud? With a four bladed tail rotor and a four bladed main, it should decrease the sound pretty significantly. Yes, I'm aware that it holds the speed record, but the default model isn't really that impressive from a technical standpoint. The one which broke the speed record was heavily modified.
Now eight british SAS commandos are also captured in Libya :argh: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1066767-Libya-Rebels-capture-eight-British-special-forces-commandos
