Rumor: Darth Vader may "Rise from the Ashes" in Star Wars Episode 7

in the books I recall reading about Anikin/darth vader as a ghost guiding Luke and others but thats about it.
Perhaps it could be "Darth Vader" but actually an imposter. That would be a nice twist.
That...would actually be great. I would pay good money to see that.
Bringing back the real Anakin in the (burnt) flesh would be terrible, though. Don't do that, Disney.

maybe the ghost of Ani's mother comes to haunt Anikin as a ghost
Anikan then haunts people, possesses someones body and then spooks them
actually fuck I shouldn't have said that now Lucas will want this to happen.
i believe the original concept for the dark empire comic series was having the remnant empire create a fake darth vader to use as a symbol of fear. it could work
Still could be worse
Darth Jar Jar
Still could be worse
Darth Jar Jar
Darth Okieday
Darth Okieday
r2d2 joins the dark side with jarjar binks and that jazz bar band that always shows up and c3p0 has a sex chance. Han Solo is now a black man. (This is because they want to be more racially/gay tolerant)
there is another death star, 2 chewbaccas, luke skywalker molests leia and reviewers are calling star wars 7 "Total shit, the 4th best movie in series"
Having any regrets, George?
considering what he did to the character in the prequels?
yeah probably not

most Extended Universe shit is goddamn full of terrible ideas and that is one of them.
Please...Bringing back Darth Vader would be the most fucking stupid and retarded idea in the world. There is no possible way of bringing him back without being forced and retarded just so they can bank off nostalgia.
I don't want to see a nostalgia cash cow. I want to see another fucking good star wars movie.

Considering George Lucas is having a hand in writing it, I wouldn't put it past him to either retcon his death or coming up with some stupid way of resurrecting him.
Though in all honesty I doubt George is that stupid.
Darth Vader reincarnates in a child gungan body.

George has done some pretty major shit before.
Like shoehorning Vader in the prequels and adding a comic relief space rabbit token black guy stereotype.
And making R2D2 an all purpose tank.
And showing Vader as a kid
And making half of star wars 2 a bad romance movie
And overusing CGI
And killing Mace Windu
There has been one other really cool "bad-guy" in Star Wars. Darth Maul.
That and the pod racing were probably the only good things about episode 1 :)

Mace fucking Windu, best good character in the prequels

Also Darth Tyranus
Obi one was a ghost of the force why not vader

You do see Vader as a ghost at the end of Star Wars 6 along with yoda and obi.
In the original version it was a rather old looking guy but after the prequels were made and the DVD re-release was out, they changed it to look like the actor from the prequels instead.
I mean, just saying. He kind of had his life support systems electrically fried, and he kind of died from exposure and general lack of life support.
And being fucking cremated
How about you just put mouse ears on every person on screen while your at it.
You just can't let go of the character, can you George?
George isn't running the show anymore.
This guy is:

If Darth Vader came back, hell no.
But if the new generation of Jedi wore a variation on his armor as a tribute to him? Hell fucking yes.
Obi one was a ghost of the force why not vader
Palpatine preserved himself through the force and lived on by taking over clone body's until Solo shot him while he was trying to take a new host.
Vader could do the same I guess but it would be pretty crappy.
ITT: overreaction.
the source is a fucking tabloid jesus christ
Perhaps it could be "Darth Vader" but actually an imposter. That would be a nice twist.
Not really a twist when all the main characters and the audience know his body was burned in a pyre.
If you wanted more Darth Vader...Episode III, man. So much Darth Vader promotion, 10 seconds of Darth Vader in the suit. Bad times.
I bet this is just a nonsensical rumor. There might be a chance that the ghost of Vader might talk or appear in the movie, talking or giving advice. They cannot simply bring him back, he got burnt in the end.
Rise and shine, Mr. Vader, rise and shine...
I'm not overly concerned about this. The people writing this movie know full well that retcons that heavy duty will completely kill the series.
It's probably bullshit.
And why would Vader resurrect but not the emperor? That would make a lot more sense, and that way he could be killed in a less ridiculous scene than the end of Episode VI.

It's not the worst thing ever retroactively done to Vader, though. The worst thing was definitely that time gave Palpatine a bastard child that was his heir, then had some three-eyed dude pretend to be that heir and call himself TRIOCULOUS while wearing Vader's gloves, because they're now magic destiny gloves or some shit.
Or maybe it was that one time he had a medieval goddamn castle, complete with a big black statue of himself, which later got raided by children.
Or that whole thing where they had Luke go emo and wear his dad's armor and pretend to be him because not only are they magic gloves of destiny, but the armor also totally is just a thing a normal human can wear and become superpowered via. Or Vader was communicating to him through it or some shit I don't even remember, it was just awful.
I wish I was making that shit up. "EU" is such a fitting name.
