Actually just an Aspire V5 laptop, it has a touchscreen which is why the button for onscreen keyboard is there
I've been quite enjoying it, I like the smoother, harder look of it all.
It's pretty, but it would be even better if we could replace the blue tints with our favorite colors from the setting menu.
I like it, it's just and update, not a radical design change. Though maybe a little bit square.
The gradient could definitely do with being tweaked, but overall I do like it - much more than the previous design.
I've always enjoyed gradients myself, but since people seem to like showing off big new resolutions by using flat colours, I guess this is the future. It looks pretty darn good!
I don't mind the new design, but the gradient on the top is really distracting right now. I keep glancing up because it's drawing my eye to it more than anything else with how glaring it is.
I don't like the flat look of this, anyone got a pre update skin?

There's a difference between minimalism and looking outdated.
No matter what they do to the client it will always be shit, unless they ditch this horrid vgui system.
this is by far the worst redesign i have ever seen in my entire life also my testicles smell vaguely of vinegar.
This doesn't look that bad. It's not too much of a difference, but its definitely better than the previous.
Like several others in this thread though I use Metro for steam so this doesn't really affect me, though its a shame i can't use the hidden library feature. I'd really like to forget some of my purchases...
I really like the blue gradient, but I'm gonna stick with Metro for Steam.

I can just mass select done. when you have many games, categories is a nightmare.
I wonder if the categories are finally getting fixed. They're completely useless since all collapsed categories open when you restart steam.

there is no row highlighting when mousing over
i liked that immensely as it made it more clear as to what i was clicking on
now you have to blindly stab at the person you're trying to click on
