Hope the guy gets life in jail. Or gets put into a mental home. I don't think anybody sane would shoot someone on purpose over anything that small.

Come on, though it's really weird and pretty terrible what he did, he did only shoot a girl in the knee (I say only because you suggested life).
I guess Smoking really does kill.
This is why I think cigarettes should be banned completely.
The guy was a phyco Blame him, not the cigarette
The guy was a *psycho Blame him, not the cigarette
Fixed.
Cigarette companies read this and think: "All according to plan...."
Cigarette companies read this and think: "All according to plan...."
Why would they? They just lost at least two customers.
i guess she decided to shoot up instead
Why would they? They just lost at least two customers.
Obviously it's profitable for them to have their drug addictive enough to commit murder over.
tobacco can be very addicting. but a +30 year old man for some reason can't afford his cigarettes and shoots a teenager girl for her last cig, that is cruel and unusual.
And people think I'm an asshole for confiscating cigarettes from minors.
They are good for the economy.
Not really. One of the most common causes of death (if not THE most common) is diseases related to smoking such as lung cancer.
Why not sell the gun for cigarettes?
Or put the gun into mouth instead of one. That's what the guy should do.
Pity that cigarettes are banned in American prisons.
Looks like he had one in the chamber.
I almost got stabbed by drunk russians because I said I don't have cigarettes
Obviously it's profitable for them to have their drug addictive enough to commit murder over.
What murder do you speak of?
Heard on the radio yesterday that some guy stabbed a woman in the eye because he was smoking in a subway and she asked him to stop. Stress kills.
Not really. One of the most common causes of death (if not THE most common) is diseases related to smoking such as lung cancer.
The bring in millions because people are addicted to them.. How is that not good for the economy?
Pity that cigarettes are banned in American prisons.
not all depends on the state
I once stopped at a liquor store as I was driving somewhere, I forget where. Anyways, as I'm paying for my stuff I noticed right there on the counter they were selling cigarettes for 25 cents a piece(this was a while back). Damn! How low rent is a neighborhood that the stores sell cigarettes one by one? And I saw a couple of people buy them, pulling pennies and other loose change out of their pockets("Let's see, five cents in this pocket, a dime in my back pocket, a nickel in my jacket pocket" shit like that). So yeah, I can see how in certain places even a single cigerette may have enough value that A) you won't 'lend' it to anyone and B) you'd shoot someone for hogging the last cigarette because you can't scrape up enough loose change to buy one.

people will hurt other people over literally ANYTHING, how are you guys surprised
