What if your parents were scientologists and tattooed a symbol of scientology somewhere where it would not be easily seen by others. Sure, circumcision is a little different because many non-religious have it and it's common, but that does not justify it.

If anything, it should be banned from being performed when it isnt a medical necessity, so if a proffesional docter examins you and say's you need it, he fill's out a peice of paper, and you get it done.

There's nothing wrong with being circumsized, but being circumsized at birth is wrong, whether it ends up as an issue or not. And over here in Denmark, girls generally find it a bit funny if a person is circumsized - it's all just cultural differences, like 0% are actually circumsized over here.

I dont understand how any parent could do this. its bad enough getting it done to a child that cannot give his consent in the first place, but taking an opperation on your child into your own hands should just be screaming BAD IDEA, no matter how strongly religious you are.
